Probably the funniest outcome of this is Wolff still arguing on Twitter about it while these talks were ongoing.
My guy you were fighting a losing battle.
Ok, so I'm seeing some comments about how this looks off and undertale doesn't need it.
You're correct! This is just a fun side project to see if I could get glowing save points. Nothing more, nothing less.

I wonder if this has anything to do with having a large community, would definitely not be related at all, right?
Fix the problem, the only reason this got fixed is because enough people yelled on twitter.
so!!! i made the sprites for the kris shoot animation for the deltarune gun mod on shayy's stream today
i was under the impression it was gonna be more discrete like the undertale gun mod, but issue blessed us with a mega blast
If you're coming here from Shayy's videos, hello there. I do random things that work sometimes.
If you're here looking for the mods in their videos, they're not public yet. I do plan on releasing them at some point, but for now, the more you ask, the more I procrastinate👍
@Shayy_TV
It doesn’t actually, it’s coded to manually shift the text to the left as the belt pushes you over.
The reason you get spam when you flip all 3 switches is because there’s an unfinished cutscene that gets triggered which doesn’t check if text is already being displayed.

A bit of both. I’m sure if there wasn’t a dev mode we would be in by now but like you said, why crack the console when you can just buy dev mode for a fraction of the cost.
What's gonna come first,

Xbox datamining or recreating the casino from scratch? Sprites being done by
@LilAlienBoop
, music is currently by

but will be swapped for a spliced version from gameplay videos (also by Alien).
Context for this: I played an absolutely diabolical prank on Sarah's girlfriend, Mari, by covering every single surface of her room with Friend Inside Me

This appears to be a rendering bug on their side. Multiple people from the Undertale datamining and modding community have tried to reproduce this and failed.
Tentatively thinking of some form of ISAT Undertale crossover game/mod, kind of like "if I’m not getting more content then I’ll make my own"
No other game has made me feel this way.
It's been a week, had a chat with a friend while trying to script things out and the topic of "should siffrin appear in color" came up.
I couldn't decide on a color so they're randomly colored now (chosen when you start your first save, stays unless true reset (may not happen))
Was hoping to keep this as a daily thing but I ended up playing outer wilds tonight instead so there goes that.
Might start doing this weekly so I actually have something to show and can take breaks instead of burning out early by trying to do stuff every day.

UPDATE: turns out we didn't look far enough. Going to any room with the spinning cogs in Hotland, then returning will cause this to happen. It resets after Asriel because Star Blazing resets the bad value.
We've known that the object order in the Xbox version of Undertale was scuffed since almost day 1, but that we have the dump we can see just how scuffed it really is.
x-axis is the index on the switch, y-axis is the index on the xbox. Bar on the right is stuff not on switch(x=y)
@dailytobytrivia
Just a small note, what's shown here are restored versions of the UI. Here's what it looks like as-is (minus the boxes showing interactables in the room)
Also, here's my original reddit post about it.
Fun fact, we were very close to not having a wayback archive of this URL.
We can see when the image was last modified if we check the request headers. If we compare that to when the wayback machine tool the snapshot, we see the snapshot is actually a minute *late*
The logic behind looping to certain points is mostly complete.
I want to add a map-like interface to select where exactly you want to go but in the meantime have the half-baked area select.
@nightshademagia
Even if that wasn’t the case, it still wouldn’t work because by default the gamemaker sandbox doesn’t allow modifying the folder the game is running from (I believe you can turn this off now but the version Undertale uses is too old for that).
this might be a hot take but i genuinely believe calling out new followers should be a violation of twitch TOS
sometimes im hesitant to follow a streamer because im not sure if the streamer is gonna call me out, its so annoying, if you are a streamer dont do this
In fixing things with Reanimator, I have unfortunately learned how OMORI handles emotions for enemies.
There are multiple copies of every enemy, one for each emotion it can have (+none) with slightly different flags.
I cannot help but think there was a better way.

I spent tonight playing Start Again (prologue to ISAT)
if I ever finish this mod I'll probably at least do something like that first as it lets me experiment a bit (also my writing sucks so it'll be good practice).
I have done something useless.
redirects to the English version of survey program (Deltarune CH1).
does the same but it’s the Japanese one.
I also have but don’t have a use yet.
Notice: If you've ever uploaded a YouTube video containing UNDERTALE/DELTARUNE music (especially gameplay videos) and receive a copyright notice, ALWAYS dispute it and it should be resolved in your favor. We apologize for the inconvenience.

This one wasn’t alarms, it’s that it checked if you moved before the game processed the inputs to move you. Xbox flipped the order of those checks so you now move before anything else.
@facts_semi
@ROMANSITOTIRED
@osh_wott
Fun fact, this was meant to work in all versions but the port from Gamemaker 8 to Gamemaker Studio broke it since it changed the order stuff was run in.
The play would check for movement before you got a chance to move on that frame.
On Xbox, that got flipped back somehow.
Been working on a modding tool for TS!Underswap's cutscenes and dialogue off and on for a couple of years now, decided to slap a really basic UI on it so it's actually usable.
