@H2Pburgh @YinzerBarry @MarkyBillson @CfbSelect Especially with NIL the way it is. Any money that big time donors would be willing to spend on a stadium would be better spent on NIL. The return on investment would be much greater. Pitt's barrier to 4-star and 5-star talent is not their stadium, it is NIL money.

@H2Pburgh @MarkyBillson @CfbSelect That 60k number that Marky threw out is ridiculous. Maybe 45k, max. Pitt doesn't need bigger than that, and that's not a bad thing. TCU's stadium only holds 47k.

@Just_a_yinzer @ScherzerFan @colin_dunlap @dillonerd @UPMC If you went into a hospital, and the staff there handed one of these to you (along with everyone else) and said you had to wear it while in the hospital, would you? Maybe you would. But most would complain just as much about wearing that one as they do about the N95 ones, or more

@bannythepenguin @AGretz You do realize that when this current CBA was being negotiated Nutting did not push for a salary cap. And he voted in favor of the CBA, as it is. He doesn't care about a salary cap. Actually, he probably likes there not being one. It gives him a built-in excuse.

@burghadurg23011 @pghpls @RyanJon08044492 @AGretz The coach picked the players. Therefore, the coach ultimately is the problem.

@amuse I am not a lawyer, and don't know a lot about the intricacies of this type of thing, but can active duty troops participate in quelling protests in American cities? That would seem to be a function of domestic law enforcement. Would Congress need to pass a law allowing that?

@BHouse50 @rtjr I've never seen someone defend a cheap owner as much as you. You truly are a Nutting apologist.

@BHouse50 @Sports15110338 @rtjr Yes. He chose to buy a sports team. You take on that obligation when you buy a sports team. They aren't investments, like other companies. They are hobbies. It should be treated as such.

@CalltoActivism They couldn't find any hungry Americans to give it to? Wow. They didn't look very hard.

@BHouse50 @Sports15110338 @rtjr Here you go again, making the mistake of tying payroll with revenue. They don't need to be tied together. Rather, payroll should go up first. Then success will follow. Then the fans will come. Then revenues will go up. Do you get it?

@BHouse50 @rtjr What did you say about Nutting? You didn't have to use his name. You typed that others know "even less about business." Anyone with common sense could infer this as a defense of Nutting's business decisions in regards to how he operates the team. Clearly, he is indefensible.

@BHouse50 @WatchPGHSports @rtjr Wrong. Wrong. You are assuming that a new owner would not operate at a financial loss to field a winning team. That is not a good assumption. Plenty of very wealthy sports owners operate at a personal loss. As should Nutting. He signed off on the current CBA.
