@AgentZer0123 @GetEmOuttaHere @DJ70200 @comenihufc You realize the 4-0 still loses those 6 times, just earlier? It’s not really 4-0. You’re just ignoring 6 seasons of a person’s career.

@vv3spa @PETEandrepete_ @screamiesaurus @dajajajamie For a biopic that doesn’t seem exciting, why would I spend money when I can watch it at home soon? People have become far more selective of what they see in theaters. Mostly due to cost. A bit because of how fast movies are available at home and the quality of home systems.

@danny___puppy @dajajajamie In theory, sure. But in watching that specific trailer, it looked bad goofy, not good goofy. It looked like “look how WEIRD this is!!!”. Maybe that’s not how it was, but it’s how the trailer felt to me.

@PETEandrepete_ @screamiesaurus @dajajajamie I’m not spending the insane costs for a theater ticket for maybe I learn about someone, in a movie that looks kinda dumb and silly (but seems to take itself 100% serious).

@joeleco87 @AustinThreeves It’s crazy that fans can just pretend that athletes just aren’t humans with real emotions.

@CMOKC @HPbasketball 1. Yes 2. Defense is about 2% of the value a superstar contributes, and is valued as such for MVP voting.

@AndreaEmme83 @castlehillmom @FriedCh41287569 @sarahcstock First marriage age being two years older than 100 years ago being classified as “extinction levels” is some of the silliest nonsense I’ve ever seen.

@S_Wasserman @DavidMacKayNBA From what I’ve seen from the guys, Sharpe and Simons could easily swap places in your rotation. Sharpe might be the high end 6th man of this group. I also think they’ll have more urgency to move Grant sooner than later (assuming he doesn’t cost assets to offload).

@S_Wasserman @DavidMacKayNBA If Grant were moved, I think Scoot would start. I’d be shocked if Simons contract expired in Portland. They either trade him this offseason or extend him. And I think an extension is fairly likely.

@wtkd1 @blazerbanter I think he’s run out of time to get an extension. He’s not in the realm of anything close to max. But I can’t see him signing a long term smaller deal. He’ll be a RFA in 2026. At this point he’s a great 6th man. Maybe that’s the future for him.

@wtkd1 @blazerbanter Does Sharpe being extension eligible mean anything when he’s been what he’s been?

@Greyson2020 @JCigan Yeah, if they have the worst front court in the league, those two couldn’t be the guards. If Simons and Scoot are the two best players on the team, they won’t contend. They still need a true #1 star. Whoever the guards are doesn’t change that fact.

@Greyson2020 @JCigan But yes, if they extend him he’s set as a starter moving forward. It probably shows a lack of belief in Sharpe to be a long term starter.

@JCigan I’m still not convinced he’s not one of the two best guards on the roster long term. And I’m not convinced he and Scoot can’t start together long term. Which is why I’ve always been hesitant to want him moved.
