@BlazetheNugs Iām just saying I do* think the price to undo them would be worse. The Bucks picks and swaps are too valuable (they just had a horrible deadline) to be used on such a cost-cutting move. You say Iām ādefending themā when I just I donāt want them to make more bad decisions

@BlazetheNugs Refusing to see how the Smart trade is connected to Portlandās situation with their veterans is actually the exact opposite of looking at trades in a vacuum. Iām not sure you know what that phrase means.

@BlazetheNugs There are rumors and there are offers. Seems like all those Lakers rumors last summer with Grant were totally bullshit

@BlazetheNugs Youāre getting mad at the wrong person. Iāve consistently said they should have traded Grant and Simons. But Iām also not gonna sit here and act like there were a lot of good deals for them just sitting there.

@BlazetheNugs I have said and written they should have traded him before in the summer and said the contract was too long the moment they signed him. They also probably shouldnāt give up picks to get off of those deals. Multiple things can be true.

@BlazetheNugs And the Grizzlies generally operate in a way I wish the Blazers would. So if they had to give up a first to undo the Smart mistake I would imagine Portland was looking at a similar situation re: JG.

@ThePDXKid @BlazetheNugs I didnāt fucking say not being able to move these guys for value is a positive. Are you guys high?

@scottptb30 I donāt think you can realistically say that considering Portland got Camara and the Suns just had to use a first round pick to get off Nurk.

Exactly. Agree or disagree, they have their reasons.
@blazerbanter Yeah and also how well the Deni trade has worked out too. Theyāre probably pretty confident in their āmethodā for evaluating trades now which seems to be centered around over patience.

@wtkd1 Yeah, well, all of us are always looking for more money. Doesn't mean we are gonna get it. And having your replacement breathing down your neck is going to be a reality anywhere you go. It's the NBA, that's how it goes.

@wtkd1 Do you think they should have given up draft picks to move either guy? Because given the trades that went down today involving guys at that price range, that's what it would have had to cost. Is giving up future picks you need to build your team helping the rebuild?
