@trailblazers But, I thought the rebuild was over, this roster was now set to make a deep run and we didn’t need any star players going forward?

@EdGamesData A lot of Blazer Twitter lacks an above average basketball IQ, a historical perspective on the NBA, and an ability to separate their fan biases from objective analysis of players.

@ryancconnell I believe last time teams were allowed to protect up to eight players. Additionally, the expansion team usually gets a very high draft pick in the regular NBA draft - #1 or #2.

@RipCitySquid And Sleepy Joe wasn’t offered “value”. Not sure there is any value in that contract, Joe.

@mophotog6 @kerryeggers @trailblazers @DannyMarang @DannyAndDusty Yes, definitely has been done. Just rare. One time in 20 years. Ben Wallace was 2nd Team All-NBA and an All-Star that year - so he was elite. In the other 19 years, you really needed a Top 5 player - an amazing 2nd player - to win a 🏆 though.

@PinwheelEmpire This 👇🏼 😂
Chris Finch says Mike Conley (right index finger) & Anthony Edwards (right hip soreness) are both OUT vs. Blazers. So, Wolves are down 3 starters & 1 key reserve tonight.

@mikegrich - great interview with @johncanzanobft today on Bald Faced Truth. You guys killed it with your updates on the current state of the Blazers. Thank you.

@Riang38903796 @BrennaGreene_ 😂 Just wait until they start winning playoff series, have a new ownership group, an elite GM, or an all-star again. Chasing play-in games led by expensive short-timer vets doesn’t excite me - or a lot of fans. Sorry. 🤷♂️ I think fans deserve better from Jody/Bert and Joe.

@AaronJFentress “Value” as defined by Joe/Jody. Very possible Ainge, Riley, Pelinka or Myers sees “value” and deals.

@davidbmarkham @AaronJFentress Exactly David. I believe strongly Joe has a tendency to play it safe and overvalue assets. He saw Neil do it and make millions. His bosses seem ok with it. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure so a “good” deal is very subjective - often can’t be judged for many years.
