Nigeria has not exactly had a time when it was 'good'.
We've just progressively gone worse over the years. The good times you people are reminiscing today was when someone sang Nigeria Jaga Jaga.
I lost my dad yesterday's night and there are no words to express the feelings.
May Allah rest his soul and grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
I pray Allah forgives his shortcomings and grant him a peaceful abode. Ameen.
Please say him a prayer.
My aunt who has been waiting for a child for almost 13 years was speaking one day and she said if I have my child one day,......... Someone there interrupted and said 'when! You will surely have.'
She smiled and said if that it is God's decision and that if he doesn't give
2 years ago, on the day of Ashura, just when I was about to take iftar, my dear father took his last breath.
The memory is ever so fresh in my mind.
May Allah forgive his shortcomings and admit him into paradise.
'I have the biggest crush on my man. I still have butterflies in my tummy when I see him...I love to steal random glances. My heart beats so fast whenever we are together. 😍🥺 I hit a jackpot with this one. Masha Allah!' 😍😍😍
@Abdul_Ajikobi
Yes. I am aware there was a bloom. But how did we manage it, did every Nigerian benefit from that bloom? Generations after, what is the impact of that bloom on an average citizen? This is my point.
This lady on tik tok reading the Quran and she got to where it says, what is this worldy life but play and amusement and verily, the hereafter is the real abode.
She immediately screamed, 'I knew it! This world is the ghetto.'
😂😂
May Allah grant her sincere guidance.
That's how when the court ruled that Muslim women can be called to bar in their hijab, somebody's daddy started wearing his village regalia to court. Didn't last beyond two days. Muslim women who choose to have continued wearing it. That's the difference.
I remember during that Amasa Firdaus case, a lot Muslims were here saying 'I am Muslim but........
Alhamdulillah, today Muslim sisters who choose to wear hijab can be called to bar in it. May Allah reward her for standing her ground.
LoL. Even men don't love women except a condition is being met. She's fine so it gives him a sense of pride that he has a beautiful woman, she cooks and does house chores, she is humble and respects him, so it feeds his ego, she can bear him children, if she is educated,
When it comes to matters of love, women are more logical than men in their selection process. She can only love you if you serve a purpose to her.
Her love always comes with a condition: It may be financial security, your potential, brilliance etc. A condition must be met.

Lol! This thing is two way shà! Hope we will keep the same energy when this kind of generalisation is made for arewa women. I can easily say the dream of the average arewa woman is to get married to a rich man and live off his wealth, no ambition or goals whatsoever.
Please remember my family in your du'as, most importantly say a prayer for my dad as he is battling chronic kidney failure. May Allah grant shifa to the sick from amongst us. Amin.
Seeing my Dad crack jokes and laugh while on his sick bed today gave me a special kind of joy.❤ I pray Allah grants him swift recovery and keeps him long enough to reap the fruits of his labor. Ameen.
People that claim to be liberal Muslims need to stop calling Muslims who stick to the core of Islam extremists. If you choose to water down your Islam, that's between you and Allah. Do not accuse those who strive to practice Islam as it should be of extremism.
23-10-2021was my convocation day. It was a celebration of the struggles of the last 4/5 years of my life. I am eternally grateful to Almighty Allah for those years, for answered prayers, for the faith and courage to carry on, for my Parents and for friends turn family. ❤️
Every year, unilorin's dress code committee prints that their flier and share to every student. They include the rules on dress code in students hand book, You signed oath in 100l during matric. Find another school if you can't follow the rules.
The thing with all these Ideologies is that, there is no line. If you adjust for one, you'll have to keep making adjustments for everything. In end all that is left is confusion.
@kikimordi
This framing is so dangerous because its the same school of thought that frames lgbtq kids as predators. The presence of a penis (if she does have one) does not imply harassment any more than the other girls are seen to be harassing each other with their body parts.
80% of Nigerian parents as soon as they start having children, start living their lives for their children, they struggle to make ends meet so we can get a better future, but my generation is dragging it's parents for not letting them have a bf/gf at 16. Smh!
Interesting how they are working all year round keeping tabs with moon sighting and counting the Islamic months but suddenly when it's Ramadan, every body wants to have an opinion and becomes expert in geography.

Why do you people have so many mad people roaming the streets in this Ibadan? Because why did a random mad man out of nowhere slap me on the road this hot afternoon?
😭😭😭😭
Happy birthday to my best girl
@ObideleA
Anjola baby ❤
You are an embodiment of beauty..... Of all the beautiful things about you, your heart stands out for me. Never have I seen someone so humble.
I am proud of how much you have grown since we met and
I stand to be corrected but I think teachers are the most underpaid professionals in Nigeria. It's terrible the salaries most teachers earn all over the country.
You pay 400k per term for your child's school fees and the school is located in the posh area of Maitama or Garki. Then your child's school hires teachers living in Nyanya and pays them 50k per month Salary. And you think the quality of education you pay for is worth 400k?
The remaining abductees from the Abuja-Kaduna train attack were released/rescued yesterday and I literally had to search to find news about it. Do we really not see how we tend to amplify mostly Bad news? Do we not see the problem in this?
A lot of Ramadan feeding programs as usual which is great, Alhamdulillah! But please remember people close to you, your neighbors, colleagues, friends, cousins, distant families that you know aren't doing so well, they may not be able to ask but they need help.🙏

“THE PRESSURE TO BE” by Bashira Ojone Yahaya
All forms of intoxicants are forbidden in Islam. People will however always try to play around rulings.
Muslims should always be conscious of their conduct because people will always judge your religion from your actions.
Islam is perfect, Muslims aren't.
Not you people avoiding alcohol in this Abuja while doing molly & coke, if you don’t get out of my face with this hypocrisy. I don’t know who you people are deceiving because the entire point of staying away from alcohol (according to islam) is avoiding intoxication. 🙄

😁😁😁 this part is also there o! Let's just pray to Allah for the best spouse. Truth they are both good and bad spouses from all ethnic groups
Saw this picture yesterday and was like Masha Allah! Beautiful family and moved. Only to see a quote about the CS this morning and I opened it! Omo! What is really your problem with how a Muslim woman chooses to dress? Like y'all are always in Muslim women's business! 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
When I shared this earlier, a number of people were asking for doctor's report confirm it's authenticity but it wasn't ready then. Now it is and it turns out we don't need 20 buy 15 million now. Please send in your donations, no matter how little and rt for others.
God bless you
Dear men, please reduce the way you hype big ass and boobs. They are not assets as you claim. Women are losing their lives to surgical enhancement procedures to please men. Nobody should tell me they did it to please themselves. It’s to get a man’s attention. No more no less!!
Also, until Muslim communities begin to really uphold and teach the rights given to women as legislated by Islam, we will continue to have these problems and saying, 'Islam is kind to women' will continue sound like a farce to some people.
He was the kindest person I have met. Was always eager and willing to help anyone and everyone he could. May Allah illuminate his grave and have mercy on his soul. My best Guy! ♥️
In Islam, there's nothing like 'owning your sins' with your full chest as they say.😅
You are either ashamed of them and striving sincerely to repent and stop falling into those sins or you are an arrogant unrepentant sinner.
The choice is yours to make.
This...... What I believe is that because you commit one sin doesn't mean you should engage in every other sin.
Stay away from those sins you can and ask for forgiveness for the ones you commit while you continue the struggle to abstain from them.
My dad would have taught me how to drive by now Sha. 😒 He always wanted to. So many memories I didn't get to make with my best guy. 💔
May Allah have mercy on him.
@TheLotaChukwu
Na wa o. I really can't believe you people take offence from his tweets. 😑 He is passing across important message with bants and jokes. It's not that deep.
I am just drinking water anyhow this night. I don't know if I think it will make me stay awake to read.
😑 my mates are cuddling at this time o! What is all this?
At least in Ilorin, it was always 'are you Hausa?'
'you look like Hausa'
In this Ibadan, I have heard Gambia, Rwanda and today someone asked if I am from Senegal. 😂😅😅
Today is dad's birthday. I pray that Allah grants him shiifa and blesses him with a long life with good health. May Allah put him among those who are successful in this world and tge hereafter. Ameen.
