It was 24 years ago but I still remember. My shivering body, my blue lips and chattering teeth in the midst of the cold. Feeling abandoned by the whole world in an earthquake tent. All it takes is a second and your whole life can get turned upside down. I am sad and angry.
I am so happy to share our new article with Duygu Atlas. It is a result of my

Dear Friends, Dr.Mohammedali Yaseen Taha and I are organising an online conference as part of our
@BritishAcademy_
funded project called "Building Research and Publication Capacity of Emerging Scholars in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq".
I wish I could edit another book on harassment in academia, exposing those who are complicit and support misogyny while disguising this under other excuses for their own gain.
In March last year
@ErinPritchard15
& i edited a book & it was published. Today, it is now unpublished, it has been silenced &we have received a reversion of rights. Im proud of this collection, of everyone who wrote a chapter, the bravery of every single author. We will be back.
This article complements our previous work as part of the

I need to withdraw from this site for a while. The positions that fellow academics are espousing celebrating the death of civilians as some sort of valiant moral accomplishment is too much for my soul to bear.
