I was delighted to discuss bilateral economic cooperation and cultural relations with Shona Riach, Director for External Affairs and Culture; George Burgess, Director of Agriculture and Rural Economy; and Stuart Adam, Team Leader in International Relations at the Scottish Government @scotgov. I showcased #KRG's economic priorities and socio-cultural opportunities for further collaboration between #KurdistanRegion and #Scotland.

It was a pleasure to visit the #Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce @EdinChamber and conduct a productive and informative meeting with Joanne Davidson, Director of Policy and Insight, and Mayan Grace, Director of Projects, regarding business and trade priorities, opening new opportunities for collaboration and joint projects between the #KurdistanRegion and #Scotland.

During my visit to #Scotland, I had the pleasure of meeting Simon Wallace, the leader of the Inward Investment Team for the Scottish Development Plan. We engaged in an insightful discussion about the best ways to promote business and trade-based policy and standards. We also exchanged views on potential collaboration between the #KurdistanRegion and #Scotland.

Profound thanks to Bob Doris MSP @BobDorisSNP for arranging the opportunity to speak with cross-party members of parliament, @JohnMasonMSP MSP and @FoysolChoudhury MBE MSP and #Kurdish NGOs at the Scottish Parliament @ScotParl, to brief them on the current situation in #KurdistanRegion, political landscape and constitutional relationship with Federal Iraq. We also explored cultural exchange, the Kurdish Diaspora in #Scotland, and their productive contribution to society.

It was excellent to discuss the relationships between the #KurdistanRegion and #Scotland with Neil Bibby MSP, @NeilBibby, the Shadow Cabinet Secretary at the Scottish Parliament @ScotParl, and explore collaboration between the two nations. #KRI and #Scotland

I was pleased to be in #Scotland for the past three days to further enhance the relationship between the Kurdistan Region and Scotland. I am deeply grateful for the warm welcome given by Russell Findlay MSP @RussellFindlay1, the Leader of the Scottish Conservatives @scottories, and Pam Gosal MBE, MSP @PamGosalMSP, the Deputy Chairwoman and Shadow Minister for Investment and Employment, where we had a productive and fruitful discussion on bilateral, areas of collaboration and the Kurdish community in Scotland.
