@isoquince
He’s playing the long game. Folks are gonna start expecting shots every time ands it’s gonna open up easier passing lanes for him. It used to be the complete opposite
@WestHamPlace
Complete opposite, VAR tried to pressure him to cheat by sending him to the monitor. The rule is that a goal can only be ruled out for handball if scored by the same player that handled it. Hence why Oliver stuck with his decision which we never see refs do
@mattjafc
Less sympathy towards mistakes is a BIG one. Last ssn the crowd responded to goals conceded with a roar that drowned out any away celebrations
@SeanDOlfc
I agree tbh but what kind of precedent does it set if every player that gets investigated for an alleged crime has to stop playing? People will start making tactical allegations ffs
@Ic3Evaa
It’s not that dumb because some of his takes are so biased. He spent most of last season saying United would finish above arsenal based on nothing but “his feeling”
@r1medi
A lot of people were still doubting if he’d recover from his injuries until he came on and scored that volley against Newcastle last season, that felt like a turning point
