Our engineers from 33 Engineer Regiment (EOD) were in Voi working in partnership with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) & The National Museum of Kenya to scan the grounds at Voi Cemetery believed to be unmarked burial sites for WW1 casualties.

attached to BATUK A/LCpls Kwarteng and Kwame-Tanoh donated food to the Hope & Home Orphanage in Nanyuki.
They decided to solicit funds from friends and family back in the UK via Facebook and managed to raise £150.00 (KSH22,000.00).
Thank you to all who have supported; as a result of hard work and dedication we can confirm that the fire is now well contained. The British Army and community will be keeping a watchful eye to ensure there are no changes.
Yesterday the BATUK Officers' Mess held a Hails and Farewells event; it was a great opportunity to say "jambo" to the new arrivals, and "badai" to those moving on from Kenya to other parts of the Army. We wish them all the best.
