@Glenn_SoilAgro 2011 was a record year at the time with 12 MMT. So maybe the question is, when will we hit 35 MMT?

@RCALFUSA Maybe 360 million Americans like eating beef, so much so that they can't produce enough?

@paradooprime Approx. 20% of employed is by fed, state, or local govs. As of June '24. Would be higher than that now

@JamesPreuss @WheatWatcher Agreed. My point is it's not a good as most think. Improvements in canola yields, at least in Great Southern WA, but not the same in DSE or kg lamb/ha, sees $10/kg lamb equivalent profit to mid $700s for canola

@BenDooley8 @AndyMuir22 @TheCountry @JamesEd53956301 @FedFarmers @NZBeefLamb @deane_ag @deanrabbidge @Meat_Watcher great article a few weeks ago re margins. What makes the Aus/NZ inefficient that these prices aren't achievable?

@nig_michael "Does anyone know why the canola market is down so much lately?" A tweet someone will post on here in about 2 weeks time.

@WheatWatcher Consumer: 'That's not sustainably produced so should be banned. You need to do it like my cousins who regeneratively farm 3 goats and a broccoli crop with zero inputs'.
