@BenDooley8 @Pmac89360732 @AndyMuir22 @TheCountry @FedFarmers @NZBeefLamb @deane_ag @deanrabbidge I swear we get sold a story from ppl making very good money off us selling and processing our products, it’s easyer to sell a product that’s at a lower price, now they are worried about the numbers #killthegoose $17.50vs $7.50 is taking the piss.

@BenDooley8 @AndyMuir22 @TheCountry @FedFarmers @NZBeefLamb @deane_ag @deanrabbidge I think we have finally decided we have a problem. How many times did you go into the director road show meetings and get told to suck it up and there was nothing to see here. What we have been doing isn’t working. I’m calling 10$ this spring, not through anything but low numbers

@BenDooley8 @PaulBMcGill You can only grow a cattle beast at best poorly on the tucker a cow eats at worst you will loose weight. These beef cows are amazing. On hill country even the beef cross fed very well are still behind the beef.

@BenDooley8 @deanrabbidge @AngusBlake7 @WeatherWatchNZ It’s on the web site. With how fast the ewe numbers a dropping we aren’t keeping enough clearly.

@BenDooley8 @deanrabbidge @AngusBlake7 @WeatherWatchNZ Have a look on beef and lamb. Last year was less but there’s huge amounts taken through in the North Island and cantbry. The sheep figure usually includes about 10million hoggets taken through out of 13.4m breeding ewes so a lot must be fatting.

@BenDooley8 @deanrabbidge @AngusBlake7 @WeatherWatchNZ What does it cost to operate 11 plants that don’t need to be there?? My math is 18.7M lambs born, there’s usually 10million taken into the winter between ewe lambs and winter lambs so that leaves 8.7 till June over the whole country that’s ugly numbers.

@BenDooley8 @deanrabbidge @AngusBlake7 @WeatherWatchNZ My point is it doesn’t matter how we get the factory’s more efficient but we just have to. Every district is always going to be different.

@BenDooley8 @AngusBlake7 @WeatherWatchNZ Disagree if you’re payed for efficiency then booking when you supply becomes massively cost benefital. There’s not a single thing you can point to that’s been working in the last 15 years in sheep and beef and I point to numbers as my case in point. Supplying could also be store

@BenDooley8 Is the issue when foreign owned companies become more powerful than the government of a country in settting the direction of travel. It didn’t work out well for Africa or India when the foreign companies came in. A company’s main objective is still to its shareholders.

@deanrabbidge @BenDooley8 I just wish the industry would spend more time worried about itself and less about everyone else, 10-12$kg and I think you would see us back competing it’s very doable
