@Lx495 @OxoDog51N14W The point for me, in addition to getting off the internet, is to not use screens at all. To fully reintegrate into the physical realm.

@hobartpulp I hear you, but I think it's a different to 1. do it in a foreign city where I know no one and don't speak the language, and 2. only visit a public computer once a week (no laptop even for offline writing work)

@IBTrippin Punkt phone doesn't display notifications on home screen – you have to unlock to check – which creates an anxiety cycle. Also, the dictionary is laughably bad and predicts obscure words ahead of very commonly used ones.
