1/2 I find it amazing that in 2021 mothers still get judged for taking time to raise children! No duff was told today I wasnโt SQEP enough after spending 4 years studying Space Physics at Uni, 2 years in Mass Spectrometry and gusting 18 years in the RAF almost solely in Space Ops

None of this is new. I would come off console at Boulmer and nap between sorties when I was pregnant with my first. I worked until I went into labour at 42 weeks (2 weeks overdue). I fed her in the Ops room when I held the command for the 4 minute nuclear warning. She is now 13.
