At approx 9:30 APD responded to an individual suffering from a crisis and threatening to jump from the Riverlink bridge in the River Arts District. After diligent efforts from patrol & members from our Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), the individual was safely taken into custody.

This morning a community member refused to take back $ they gave an officer thanking them for their help. Officer Aiken, a new officer in training, was familiar with the work of 12 Baskets, & donated the money to help provide additional meals for those in need.
