This year I've been living with HIV for 25 years, diagnosed at 23. This is what living with HIV looks like. Remembering all our brothers and sisters who have fought, sending love and respect to the ones still fighting on

*Fyi. Never been this honest about it.
I'm asking those who love the outdoors to post a picture. A picture that YOU took. Just a pic. No description. The goal is to regain peace and harmony without negativity. Please copy the text, put a picture on YOUR page, and let's look at these beautiful pictures
14 odd weeks. Loads of stress. Budgets, don't talk about those. But this evening, I feel lucky, as I have a home, and it's our home, it's not perfect, but I only have myself to please.

Notice handed in this morning, accepting a full time position in Manchester. Sad to leave, but it's time to move on.
Hope Thursday lunchtime finds you all well.

It my partner's dad's funeral today, I can't be there, due to the Corona virus, sad as I can't support him on this day.. It's not the time to dwell on what could or should have been, but I just wanted to say how lucky I was to have know such a generous and warm man.
RIP Paddy. X
Living with the virus is the easy bit.
Fear of the prejudices many people living with it face is what kept me quite.
But from today.
No fear, no shame, no more. ✊ x
Swim with the dogs to start the day.
The big dog loves swimming, little one not so much.
Cleethorpes for ice cream and pier mooching.
Enjoy your Saturday.
The special silence of a Christmas morning. No nothing, no want, no need, just sitting here with a coffee listening to the birds starting to wake.
Bliss.
Have a wonderful day, whatever you do or don't do. x
Handing my notice in at precisely 15:59. I finish at 4 and I cant be arsed with the phone call that will swifty come after.
I'm such a big anxious twat and that chat can wait till tomorrow.
My parents had this tradition where at the first strike of midnight, the front door would open, and the old year would be ushered out. At the closing bell, the back door would open and the new year would be welcomed in. It had a redemptive quality, looking forward not back.
Our South African lodger is feeling a bit overwhelmed I think. It's easy to forget how stressful things can be at 24, that you take on the chin at 45. Going to make some Afrikaans foods, maybe a taste of home might help her

Come home from work, no tiles in the hallway. Have we been robbed, no, they're on my fecking kitchen floor. It's finished, I could kiss you all, on all your cheeks.

Out with the dogs early this morning.. wasn't quick enough to catch them on screen, but it's not every day you get to watch harbour porpoises swimming up the Mersey.
My mum died a few years ago, we didn't have the best relationship.
No matter how you think you feel about something, there are somethings you will always regret, once the opportunity to put it right has gone.

21 probably won't be any better than 20. But there's no need for you to be a funsponge on other people's joy is there. Give it a rest, you never know, it might make you a bit happier too..
Happy New Year. X
This photo titled 'tsunami' has been chosen to be exhibited as part of the
@Gallery365photo
community at The Photo North Exhibition in Leeds next month. It's a real honour to be part of this group. I've never shown any of my work in public. Giddy AF.
Today the garden has come into focus. 1 skip, the first of many. A start, just clearing it, is a step forward. This time next year, it will be a different space.
The cleaner in work just gave me 2 Tunnock's teacakes for always being nice and thoughtful towards the team. Its cost fuck all to be nice, and can mean a lot.
Lesson - Be nice, not a twat. Unless they really, really deserve it!
Weather was a bit meh all day.
Dug some of the big hole.
Mugged it off to make chocolate carrot cake with pecans and dates.
It's the size of a toddlers head.
Once this last 120sqm of lawn is installed tomorrow the front is kinda finished. 4 year the outside has taken us, kinda sad and excited, but bring it on. Happy Friday x
Leaveing a job because you hate it, is easy. Leaving because of necessity is harder.
It's been a brilliant place, helped me heal, and I walk away with friendships.
#Onward
I watched crufts and ate air fryer french fries covered in cheese. Didn't see or speak to another human and fell asleep on the sofa at 8:30pm.
Best Friday night since I gave up drugs.
