If you are an English, Welsh or Scottish company, you can trade within GB freely. But if you are a Northern Ireland company - you cannot! NI companies must be part of the ‘Trusted Trader Scheme’ to trade with an English/Scottish/Welsh company. This is not free trade. #UKTogether

Perhaps @elonmusk could have a word with his @X employees. When there are posts memorialising “volunteers” in the IRA, a proscribed terrorist organisation, why when they are reported under glorification of violence does @X always find no violation? Is their ‘violence’ alright?

#Brexit : @Asda is first NI supermarket to use 'Not for EU' label This will be as effective as a chocolate teapot at keeping these items out of the EU Single Market. Are the EU intending to check all those people who cross the border to do their shopping?

It appears @RepRichardNeal is coming to Belfast to either blackmail/bully/glorify terrorism/devalue mandates/plant trees/tell us how important he is. I’m sure he’ll receive an appropriate welcome.

For the first time in a long time I have heard a @duponline representative speaking very eloquently, concisely and with considerable knowledge and authority. Giving answers which prevented, now usual, constant @MarkCarruthers7 interruption. Well done @GRobinsonDUP . #bbcnitheview

It is now evident that @J_Donaldson_MP and @GRobinsonDUP hoodwinked the @duponline over his deal on the Windsor Framework. The DUP have given away any leverage they might have had by returning to Stormont, turning their back on their electorate and ignoring their mandate.

North Down and Lagan Valley voters see through this. Alliance clearly got this wrong. Failing to admit such obvious mistakes and doubling-down on them is treating voters as though they were stupid. Alliance’s self-belief of neutrality and intellectual superiority has crumbled.

A lot of politicians in the Republic of Ireland are burning bridges tonight and not just with UK. The EU have demonstrated duplicity by changing that, which was previously unchangeable. That has unnecessarily wasted a lot of time and resources and is a source of embarrassment.

@RepRichardNeal @trussliz Trade within the United Kingdom (of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) has nothing to do with the EU. The UK voted to leave the EU. Good faith negotiations are required to find durable solutions for post-Brexit trade between UK & EU (which includes the Republic of Ireland).

So the @duponline was right in 1998. The Good Friday Agreement should never have been supported. Now, the UK Government, Sinn Fein, the SDLP and the Alliance parties want to fundamentally change it. Will terrorists go back to jail? Will letters of comfort be rescinded?

Having voted for it. Having experienced the results of it. If given the opportunity to vote on it again, I would, without hesitation or reserve, most definitely vote AGAINST the Belfast (Good Friday) Agreement. No question - it definitely wasn’t worth the sacrifices.

It is clear that the NI Protocol was never intended to protect the Good Friday Agreement, and @MarosSefcovic ’s speech today shows it is still not a priority. One mention that didn’t deal with the central issue.

When you are putting your X in the box on your ballot paper on 4th July remember this, the DUP candidate chose to believe and follow Jeffrey Donaldson. The DUP gave away Unionism’s leverage. The DUP failed to keep their own 7 tests. The DUP allowed the Union to be jeopardised.

The craziness of the UK Government ensuring TAX revenue from UK businesses in Northern Ireland is diverted away the exchequer to the benefit of EU countries, then UK Gov. funding £730m (of £858m) and allowing the EU to take the credit for the program. Really?

@simoncoveney @MarosSefcovic It’s renegotiation is not an option according to @MarosSefcovic . It appears the EU have closed the door, nevermind meeting halfway, they’re not prepare to leave their echo-chamber. The UK has tried, but EU are unwilling and have dug their heels in. So be it.

@duponline To clarify, the justification for going back into the @niassembly has proven to be without merit. Furthermore, it has become clear that being within the @niexecutive and @niassembly to address the issues is not a tenable position. NI has been torn from the UK. What now?

The sad thing is a lot of people in the USA think being an IRA sympathizer is a good thing. For those that do - understand that 9/11, Boston Marathon Bomb, Oklahoma City Bomb and the many terrorist shootings result from the same family of terrorism as the IRA. @RepRichardNeal

What an embarrassment, but sadly typical. Those who offer a handshake, a gesture of friendship, and use the opportunity to insult or make a snide political point. This appears to be the modus operandi of many Irish Republicans these days. #RoyalVisitNI #SharedIrelandNonsense

It does not. ‘Trade’ flows smoothly between Edinburgh, Cardiff and London. The Windsor Framework prevents many businesses in Northern Ireland from operating unless they complete customs declarations. It is an impediment to business and damages the United Kingdom.

This is an example of changing your narrative to suit your own personal ambitions or having your cake and eating it. It is insincere, conceited, duplicitous and egotistical. It devalues the Justice Ministry and those who rely on it. It treats the electorate like fools.

Naomi saying being in Westminster is far more important place to be as that is where Stormont budget decided. The same Naomi Long who told the DUP to stop negotiating bigger budget for Stormont with Westminster, just accept what was on the table and get Stormont back. 😳

The liar @RishiSunak needs to understand that his Government has lost the trust of not only Unionists, but also brexiteers. As far as Northern Ireland is concerned he must undo what he did with the Windsor Framework FIRST. He broke the trust, he must act first to repair it.

An increasing number of moderate Unionist business owners now realise that the EU only compromise when they face risk to their members. This is resulting in a groundswell of support for the EU Customs Check Points to be placed within ROI at the existing border. #ERG @chhcalling

Sadly @GRobinsonDUP is less than convincing, less than willing to distance himself from the ‘Donaldson Deal’, less than willing to accept other Unionist’s views. He is treating Unionists and those in favour of leaving the EU as if they are buttoned up the back. #NotEnough
