Along with condemning unilateral intro of national security legislation in #HongKong, I spoke about the case of Richard O’Halloran, an Irish citizen who has been refused permission to exit #China since March 2019. He has not been charged or personally accused of any wrongdoing.

Irish has been used for the first time to write law in the European Parliament. The first ever amendment in Irish was submitted by Seán Kelly MEP. The amendment stresses the importance of SMEs and including them in multilateral trade negotiations.
