Very happy with the first two episodes of My Adventures with Superman. I feel like it’s been a while since we’ve gotten an animated adaptation that wasn’t trying so hard to be the comics or super adult. Much like Superman, this feels earnest

Folks are talking about Deathstroke again and I just want to say most Deathstroke designs don’t even come close to the original in my opinion. There are some that are good stylized adaptations like Teen Titans 2003 but most feel like overly busy imitations.

Around 2005-ish I got really into Super Mario and my friend told me there was a movie from back in the 90’s. I had to rent it from the local library and I really enjoyed it because I was 10 and I just thought it was cool that it existed. Such a strange film. Happy Anniversary

I’m not a diehard He-Man fan by any means. I know most of the characters names. I’ve got some of the toys. I like the designs and some of the lore. So, with that all said I very much enjoyed the new Masters of the Universe Revelation episodes. It was a fun, exciting fantasy show

When I was 7 or 9 watching Teen Titans I had no idea who “Deathstroke” was so the character called “Slade” was a complete mystery to me. My theory at the time was that he was Bruce Wayne and all of this was a test for Robin to overcome. This of course changed after season 4

Since it’s the season of spiders I wanted to say that TASM is a totally fine movie. I respect it and I like what they tried to do. I actually kind of like it. TASM2 however is still the worst Spider-Man movie ever and as of right now nothing will change that. Happy Holidays

@alwaysmallville I know you have the comic this is based on. Kara is certainly not a happy go lucky character in that but she’s not anywhere near the angry/dark/evil versions of Kryptonians we’ve had nowadays. I’m down for a Supergirl that isn’t a carbon copy of her cousin.

I don’t want to rant all day but here’s something to think about. Don’t confuse entertainment with the entertainer. If someone is good/bad that doesn’t mean their art is also good/bad. Don’t confuse actual issues like discrimination with the quality of your superhero movie.
