Two striking takeaways from @AndrewMarr9 today. First, his questioning of Nicola Sturgeon was far harsher than of any English politician like the PM, Hancock or Raab. Why? Second, Ms Sturgeon plainly is an outstanding leader, clear, rational & authoritative. Scotland is lucky.

‘New cars built in Europe are expected to be pricier from next year’: Dept for Intl Trade says this 10% hike in prices will protect UK car industry. But it’ll also make UK made cars (BMWs!) 10% more expensive in the EU. The economics of the madhouse.

The EU had made it crystal clear to the UK that it won’t give access to its Single Market for goods & services that do not meet its standards. The - utterly mindless - ‘bonfire of regs’ will mean even fewer sales to the EU & so do further, massive damage to the UK economy.
