@HRViswanath1 In fact independent experts have submitted alternate plans for river rejuvenation to @PMCPune, which are completely eco-friendly and sustainable. Even their cost is extremely less, which is precisely why they are not being implemented.

@HRViswanath1 The real game is to grab prime land along the rivers for naked commercialization, and of course make a killing with the HUGE amount of money required for the project itself! The fact that citizens' lives & livelihoods are in DANGER is of no consequence to the authorities! 😠
