This is astounding. These figures have been asked for repeatedly by MSPs and journalists and have been hugely underplayed. It is now clear that discharging into care homes has been a huge issue. Only a few days ago Jeane Freeman was scandalously blaming care home staff.
BREAKING: Scot Gov admits 921 hospital patients were sent to care homes in March alone, pre mandatory testing. Yet on April 15, Health Sec Jeane Freeman said most of 900 delayed discharge patients discharged since pandemic start went to own homes, not care homes. Huge discrepancy

A 73% infection rate. A Health Secretary that is unaware of their own official advice. Councils withheld the £155m Westminster has provided for them to deal with this, despite them running a large number of care homes. This is a shocking.

My family is one of the many who lost a loved one (my granda) to COVID in a care home.
We have still had no answers. Nothing can bring him back but the least we deserve is some responsibility taken.

The SNP voted against this motion. The Cllr leader has said Glasgow residents should come out to clean up the mess themselves. When they reduced bin collections to 3 weekly where did they think all the rubbish would go? Glasgow deserves better
