I think people who pass after several attempts and lots of lessons tend to make safer, calmer, more considerate drivers than those who pass 1st time after 10 lessons because daddy let them go behind the wheel since they were 13 years old so they think they own the roads.

Definitely too many cars per household in your average UK street. Cars used to be in the garage, then they were on the driveway, and now they're bumper bumper on the sides of roads. No room for visitors eg care workers to park and taking up space needed for wheelchairs & prams.

I have mh issues. I can & do work part-time but it's pushing it. My antipsychotic meds make me sleep 10 hours minimum per night, and I have bad social anxiety which means having to continuously communicate with people in order to earn money puts me under enormous stress.

Many people need to think before they buy, and think before they donate. I've volunteered at a charity shop and some of the "donations" were grim. Just because someone is homeless doesn't mean they don't deserve clean clothes with no holes in. Charities aren't your landfill.
Yesterday, an org we ally with had an overflow of holiday donations, so me and a homie took on some of that work.
It was fucking miserable. I'm so glad our collective only takes donations from friends and trusted folks, because:
