On National Fox Day let me tell you about Gavin. 13 yrs ago my life was a chaotic mess. He hobbled into my garden shot by a pellet. I had no knowledge or experience. I googled for help, called police & papers & I nursed him back to health. He lived out his days with me🦊❤️1/

I had a house made for him, I went on to care for his kids & his grandkids. He was shot twice more, I nursed him again. Eventually he passed. I didn’t know it then but he was the start of this incredible journey. I still think of Gav. He found the right person at the right time❤️

Of my 100’s of rescues she was my favourite. Critically ill when I scooped her up. I knew I couldn’t let her die. Named her Lily & sang to her the whole drive to hospital. Lily made a full recovery, returned her to her den & I still hear of her antics now #ForTheAnimals🦊💚

I’m so sorry to tell you that Mr Burns has passed away. Since he first came to me I did everything I could to save him multiple times but in the end the constant injury was too much for his small body. Thank you to everyone that came on this journey with us. Goodnight laddo 💔🌈.
Mr Burns made a morning appearance🌤️. Those light patches you see are new fur regrowth 🦊. I have high hopes he’ll be ready to cope with the winter months☃️. His bounce back from multiple wounds shows us all that with inner resilience we can endure anything life throws at us 💪🏽❤️

So it turns out my aunty in Iran has accidentally started a cat sanctuary. She started feeding 2 ferals 3 years ago. Her youngest son (my cousin) set up a shelter in her front yard & now she has SEVEN residents & feeds & cleans all “guests”. I guess it runs in the family🤷🏽♀️😂🐈

Yesterday morning this was his tree. Today it’s just stumps. I’m still numb from this happening on my doorstep. I spend my life fighting for animals & yet I’ve failed my own. After the tears have dried I’ll find the strength to fight back. Thank you for the all the support❤️🙏🏽

Pete the disabled pigeon came to visit in my dreams last night, he was in a new garden & looked healthy. I think he was saying goodbye & he’s passed away. Silly to some but I believe it. Safe travels my friend, you were loved🌈🐦❤️

For those of you that remember my fireworks burn victim, things are looking up😀. I’ve medicated him as regularly as he’ll allow😅. The wound has scabbed over which is very promising & he seems much brighter. Not a great photo but trust me, a huge improvement🙏🏽. #BanFireworks 🚫
