@VladTheInflator
It can’t remain like this for much longer or we’re going to be in a hurt of trouble. If home prices start to crash we’re going to have a massive mortgage crisis too. It’s a mess.
@GuyTalksFinance
Assets - Liabilities = Equity
Equity at its fundamental level is typically tied to a form of investment. Your initial statement contradicts this.
@GuyTalksFinance
Holy smokes, he’s at it again. I will 100% be purchasing a home in the next 3 years and I 100% will be investing a portion of that possible capital in the market until then. Just diversify and make prudent investments people.
@GuyTalksFinance
I would say it’s probably middle class still, but that’s not really a lot at all anymore which feels insane to say.
If you have a mortgage, a car loan, student loans, and kids that 150k salary net income is pretty much gone.
@GuyTalksFinance
Don’t force people to invest beyond their risk tolerance. For now I’d tell them at least a high yield account or money market to get that ~5%. Then I’d say let’s book some time together soon and I’d show them the ropes on other things.
@money_cruncher
My wife and I have been renting for the last 5 years in the same spot. Our annual rent increase has been 3% each year. During this period we have both changed companies, doubled our combined income. We have a consistently low cost of living (16% of net income currently), have

@JovaniRealtor
Yeah this is not a good analysis or anecdote, sorry. Inflation across the board in all categories has already made even the nicest of raises irrelevant.
@money_cruncher
Let’s be real, they need to adjust almost every deduction a substantial amount, but they won’t and can’t because they’re broke and don’t want us to get any more advantages so that we have to rely on them less.
@George_Kurtz
Best of luck getting this fully resolved. It’s going to be exhausting I’m sure. Would love to see a one page summary after it’s all wrapped up. Something for shareholders would be nice too.
@CDInewsletter
He’s not the norm and the reason he will be successful is because he doesn’t give a shit about the status and glitz and glam people think he has. This kid is great!
I sold my first ever covered call today! Finally had the volume to get it done on this position.
4 contracts with a 45 day expiry and a strike price about 16.4% above the current price. Not a huge margin, but worth a shot.
Delta of .17 and a gross premium of $40.

@leadlagreport
The boat will leave without you if you’re not on time, oh yeah and the entire global economy seems like it’s on the brink of collapse so being stuck at sea sounds nice.
@TommyBeer
Dude they barely did. For a good 5 year stretch they were pretty dominant. Two titles well earned and the best basketball coach in the country. It was fun to watch here in Philly. But living here now as a Knicks fan is just as fun.
@iCurlyCae
Pretty much forced to in order to keep your job, and a reasonably normal standard of living by being allowed to go anywhere. It was a complete infringement on basic human rights and they got away with it.
@MFHoz
I don’t even know if it’s going to be a true bear market. The top is so heavy and the index is trading to far into future value that even a sizable pullback will just land at close to fair value. It’s all a giant facade named concentration.
@StealthQE4
This is going to be interesting to monitor. What if rates genuinely never get back down super low and the new norm is truly above 3% on inflation. Maybe 4-5% on money markets are here to stay.
@PeaceAndAbby
@sweatystartup
Given the theoretical circumstance he just presented, it sounds good to me at face value. I know as the youngest of my siblings, I would have felt great knowing that my older siblings were looking out for and protecting me.
@GuyTalksFinance
They’re genuinely annoying. Anyone who’s that dogmatic on anything in this world is quite unbearable. They’re the equivalent of political extremists. In life, it benefits you more to be able to listen, hear and process multiple scenarios and possibilities. Rigidity helps no one.
@VladTheInflator
I think after the next collapse I am going to come out of the other end of the tunnel and be shocked at how few people are there with me. The primary reason is because I just chose not to chase the crazes and markets that everyone else was, kept costs low and have no major debt
@TommyBeer
This might wind up being the most electric Knicks team of all time, and this isn’t even an exaggeration. If they’re all healthy, they can run circles around some other teams.
@TommyBeer
D and 3. The Villanova way that got them two titles. I watched all those games and went to a bunch. They were fundamentally better than almost everyone else and mastered their system. Should be able to replicate it here in the NBA.
@TicTocTick
This is a crazy pessimistic view quantitatively. I think 10 years from now the S&P500 will have at least hit 8k, but might be closer to 10k.

@GuyTalksFinance
This is a very blanket statement. This doesn’t take into account anyone’s individual situation.
What I would say instead is to avoid high cost out or out of state tuition, especially if you’re not in a STEM or Finance type major and don’t have any scholarships. Heck, if you
Woohoo! 🎉 I’m excited to see that I made it to 800 followers this morning.
I’ve been grinding for months now, so thanks to everyone for the follows and letting me pour my thoughts out here on

I just want us all to get financially literate, stable and filthy rich 🤑
@GuyTalksFinance
I wouldn’t bat an eye to it, I have many sources I can tap into even with the drop in equity prices. If anything, I’d be glad because I’ll get the chance to purchase more assets at cheaper prices. The primary point here is proper diversification and prudent investing. Plus if the

The only other people who care if a woman wears the same dress twice are other women. If it looks good on you, wear it more! Don’t be silly.
@unusual_whales
Student loans would also be like this and maybe the worst category without the government bailout that’s occurred. Low income earners got a free pass at the expense of the dying middle class. Just keep printing and spending government.
Woke up on the verge of 900 followers! All the extra engagement lately seems to be helping. Would love the support to help push me over the mark today!! Love you all and let’s all go get filthy rich!
@GuyTalksFinance
If the loan has a <5% interest rate all that cash could be used to make even more money in the market. It’s all about personal preference. Debt can be a wonderful tool when used effectively. Now a 8% loan, that’s a bad decision.
I think my biggest complaint about some of the bigger account here on FinX is how they love to speak in absolutes.
Situations are very variable and blanket statements rob people of seeing things with a wider view.
You want people to think and analyze and evaluate multiple
@StealthQE4
Yup I’ve been thinking about this for years. That’s why it doesn’t really matter. You just need to keep investing and building wealth anyway possible. As much as possible because they’ll find a way to get their share of it.
Officially became a family of 4 this week. Nothing like seeing the birth of your child. Cannot believe I am a girl dad! No doubt this makes me a better man & will help me focus even more.
My wife is just so incredible too. Just completely amazing & I’m so lucky to have her.
@GuyTalksFinance
You need to stop talking about this subject. Neither side of the argument is ever going to change their opinion. It’s just like politics. Each side has warranted arguments, just depends on the context and each individual’s situation.
@spreadmyenergy
Because that’s not what good men do. Good men don’t brag or boast or need attention. They handle their business and keep on moving forward.
@GuyTalksFinance
It’s fine. Weddings are expensive and wifey gets what she wants for this most of the time. You’ll make enough back from gifts hopefully it’ll wash out mostly.
Still nowhere near the 5M threshold, but definitely growing and reaching new highs. Gonna keep on pushing forward! Love this community. I hope we all get filthy rich and financially free!!
@GuyTalksFinance
Ohh goodness without knowing specifically because I don’t have my info in front of me I’d say mine is closer $400-450 but I also have 3 people vs. 2 and I have other subscriptions that you don’t on this list.
If $CRWD closes >300 today, I’ll officially have my first unrealized 100% return on an investment in my brokerage account. Can’t wait to keep adding to this position on dips. Future

@DaveKluge
Very nice post, thanks for all the detail shared. I’m picking at number 3 and I’m still torn with a Hero RB strategy or just doing chalk at the elite WR level. Should be fun!! Just happy football is back.
@TicTocTick
We’re really in a challenging situation. Stay on the side while rates drop and miss the bubble. Or dive in at all time highs and hope for the best.
@GayBearRes
As someone who has an MBA and has fortunately had it work out for him, I’ve thought this for a while. The MBA degree has been greatly diluted over the last 5+ years. The colleges have taken advantage of this trend greatly.

people and Corolla meme nerds are gonna hate this. I love me some $HMC. The goal is 10yrs and 200k miles for this new toy.
@VladTheInflator
Nothing like starting out an investment, knowing you’re already in the red and likely have little to no free capital left otherwise. Nightmare scenario in my mind.
1000 Followers! Finally made it!
It’s been quite the grind building this account up. I’m super proud and excited to keep going. You’re all amazing people. I love engaging in this community. Mostly, I want us all to become financially educated & financially free! Thank You!
@Investmentkage
As both a customer and a shareholder of $VZ, this news doesn’t make me want to be less of either. Don’t panic and think long term. No one is getting rid of their phone and internet plans any time soon. They’ll be fine. I’ll keep taking the dividends.
@GuyTalksFinance
Find yourself a good life partner who wants to build something great along side you and watch your net worth explode with two incomes.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see $CELH in the mid 20s. It still seems overvalued at the current P/E ratio.
Same goes for $BROS. It’s too expensive right now.
Busy day, but the work week is over!!
Packed up and caught a flight to Maine for a long weekend with the family. Traveling with kids is always an adventure, but we’re all settled.
Very very excited to explore and eat a lot!
Final tally for income generated across all portfolios for August was $1,514.17.
Also officially surpassed my previous annual record with four months still to go!
