Just overheard a guy on a call, carefully planning a 1,000 mile drive in a Mercedes electric car. Stopping at the “fast charging” spots where it takes only 40 minutes to charge. This was a 15 minute phone call all trying to plan the charging stops. 🤦‍♂️ Should I tell him?

It’s a brilliant usage of high powered locally running video chips. The network layer gets a break with the benefit of less latency, and the local chip fills in details that don’t actually need to be perfect anyway. If the local chip guesses wrong on a few hundred pixels per second, the user won’t even notice or care.

That Google voice response AI commercial demonstrates how awful it is trying to speak meaningful content. I could feel the guy almost saying “arrgh CUT!” Over and over again. Voice interface is awful.

Elaborate on that plan A elevator pitch, will ya? Keep boiling it down until it’s literally like 5 words and slaps. Like the “power global pop culture” part, I need something that really zaps instead of “merchandising and manufacturing” though. The words that stand out to me are: global pop culture merch. Maybe “at scale”? Or something that indicates the speed and responsiveness? Keep at this elevator pitch!
