Senate President Page Cortez said a student worker in the Capitol tested positive for COVID-19, along with some Senate employees' family members. He said that prompted the email urging senators and Senate staff to wear masks. #lalege #lagov

I'm grateful @RoyceDuplessis and @jasonhughes100 testified for students at today's #LALege Senate Select Committee on Women & Children. I hope more of my male colleagues will come to the table to address sexual assault on college campuses.

Trans people belong in Louisiana. The House voted to uphold the Governor's veto of SB156. Trans women and girls can play on women's and girls' sports teams. Thank you, advocates. #LALege #SB156

@votelandry I got a D from the Sheriffs Association. If you know what the sheriffs stand for in Louisiana, I over-performed. An F from the Sheriffs shows that you know how to represent your district against POWER. Sheriffs should have term limits just like most other offices already do.

Lawmakers said Friday they want Ed Orgeron to testify after hearing from Gloria Scott. Asked if Orgeron has been asked to testify & if there are any plans for it "Again, I said what I had to say this morning and I'm going to let the university handle the rest of the questions."

On the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, I’m not settling for saving past wins. I’m working toward a bigger vision where abortion is truly accessible, affordable and available. #BelieveInMore #ReimagineRoe #Roe48 #LALege

@JanetAllured @samkarlin Rep. Reggie Bagala died in April from COVID-19. Over 7,000 people have died of Covid in Louisiana. Everyone who died was someone’s — mother, father, sister, uncle, aunt, brother, friend. #2020 😰😰

@dfossier @RTMannJr I did not write or vote for the bill. If the law says that’s how it is going to be listed, it’s listing 11 commandments.
