What the f is wrong with aerith in this game?? I used to like her but this game makes me cringe and eye roll everytime she speaks. Rebirth relly trashed her character. Cloud is clearly mourning and this dumba*s is busy with if she's cloud's girlfriend or not.

Yesterday after this tweet I've seen many people quoting mean things at me. I'll make myself clear, I'm NOT taking sides... AERITH is objectively poorly written in rebirth, play the game and you will see. She feels self-asserting, weird and unnatural. (1)

What I meant is the situation is all wrong for her to ask a question like that to cloud imo. If I'm mourning for one of my comrade and the girl beside me thinks asking me if that comrade is my girlfriend is right thing to do, then I too would think that the girl is being weird.

What my problem with aerith in the video is that, no normal person should ask inappropriate question like that when the other person is mourning for a dead friend. What relation jessie had with cloud is not the most important thing right then. But aerith will be aerith (3)

The whole game has way too much awkward situation created by her, one moment she says something the next moment she does something to contradict that. I don't think any of this is a good written character trait. Devs did her injustice. Even her "that" scene is ruined. (4)

I've criticism for other characters too specially sephiroth, but still I'll say aerith comes out the worst. She force inserts her way too much and most of her interaction are super weird as if she's acting this much unnatural intentionally. Which is a bad character trait imo (2)

All I can tell you is cloti is the only couple to get kiss in the game, aerith sadly doesn't get the same treatment. They are making cloti completely canon.

That's just your opinion. I'm not even coming from shipping perspective. I've played the game and found aerith is poorly written and how she acts isn't normal. If you're fine with it then whatever, be a blind fan idc. Sephiroth sucks in the game too but aerith sucked more.

Criticism is good on both sides, but objectively I will say aerith is written poorly in this game compared to other characters. My fav would be barret and tifa from the game because how much development they get story wise.

Every Date is CANON.
You choose WHO will knock on the door for cloud, But no one controls how cloud gonna act or talk.
So it's up to you how you interpret.
IMO Cloud choosing to kiss only one person speaks volume about his true love interest.

What felt wrong to me is asking that kind of question about a dead person which cloud is clearly mourning for. I don't think what's her relation with cloud is the most important thing to know at that moment. Aerith acts this kinda weird throughout the whole game.

No it's not, devs never intended Judy to be romanced by male V, and about the existing voice lines, cdpr explained that they recorded every lines by both male and female V voice actors just in case cdpr forget something in later production and needing a re recording.

The overall game 80% of the game however is a masterpiece. But the ending sucks so much that it completely ruined the taste in my mouth for the game. The new add-ons to the story is so bad that I don't know how they can redeem themselves in 3rd game.

The 5v5 map camera should be stay as RIGHT TO LEFT just like 3v3 camera. The current Left to Right Camera isn’t really user friendly imo

2. They added loads of stuff to that game from customizations to gameplay improvements and new features to even decorating up a house. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to fix your so called "issues" with future updates and expansions
