I'm happy we finally reveal Ciri and give you a first glimpse at The Witcher 4. We know that expectations are high, so we want to do it justice by creating an engrossing and mature game that doesn't pull any punches. I hope you love the trailer as much as we loved making it!.

The new #TheWitcher camera mode and improved automatic framing of combatants started out as just an experiment, but our quest designer Eero Varendi put a ton of work into polishing it. It's my preferred way of playing the game now!.

We joked today with @MTomaszkiewicz about how the eyes in darkness for both our trailers used references from Midnight Mass to sell the idea early on. Lots of devs between our two games and studios are friends, and we like to see our friends succeed!.(also, watch Midnight Mass).

That's so cool to see! Early in development we briefly workshopped a quest with similar mechanics. You became a construct, essentially able to do millions of things at once, and this is how we simulated the full quest only taking a few seconds in 'real time'. Now someone did it!.
A Cyberpunk 2077 mod turns the game into indie favorite Superhot, where time only moves when the player moves.

The timer for a horse race during a knightly tourney in #TheWitcher: Blood and Wine is actually the health bar of an enemy that gets damage every second. If the player hits a target from his horse, this enemy gets healed a little, adding additional time.

The best and worst thing about getting to work on Wild Hunt was that this was my first Witcher game I could not play as a fan. I'll never forget the moment when on my first day, I sat next to Jacek Rozenek, watching an early version of a windswept Leszy forest in Skellige.
