SAGE needs disbanding. SAGE are The Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies. There is clearly no emergency. A variant that is nearly identical. Which doesn’t lead to deaths and hospitalisations. Is not an emergency.

@KirstieMAllsopp
You don't seem to understand that it is a competing issue. Either you claim some men can be women or you don't. The whole problem is that so many people think they are being kind and looking for a middle ground when there isn't one.
@JamesMelville
It is not quite done in England. Need to reverse the vaccine mandates for hospitals and care workers as well as removing travel restrictions.

@KirstieMAllsopp
It is not a question about how I like them to be but a question of what is truthful. I am not going to go along with a falsehood just because it might make some people feel better, and good laws are based upon clear, observable definitions. Not subjective feelings.
@MailOnline
Sam Smith is a man referring to him as he is correct. Nobody is actually buying this non-binary crap. Regardless of whether they are being compelled to by silly Ofcom guidelines.
@FatEmperor
Sweden currently ranks 25th in deaths per million. While Peru, Italy and Spain. Which had very strict lockdowns as well as mandating masks indoors and outdoors. Rank in the top 5.
@GBNEWS
They aren't even allowed to choose their own bedtime. Why should anyone trust them to sterilise themselves in order to attempt to achieve something that is simply not possible?

@ollysmithtravel
I didn't get the appeal of New Zealand before covid. You spend a day in the air just to go to a place with similar landscapes to Norway with a similar culture to the UK.
@loicleclef
@KirstieMAllsopp
People are free to express and present themselves however they like, but that doesn't change the fundamental reality that humans have only two sexes and simply not possible to change them.
@MattHancock
They have fought for that freedom which you have shamefully removed over something that doesn’t even pose a significant to the general population.
@SkyNews
And if it turns out be nothing are they going to lift the ridiculous face covering mandate and remove South Africa from the red list, which is being penalised for detecting the thing?
@ProfBrianCox
@pritipatel
Ending free movement doesn’t open Britain up. Quite the opposite actually. It means that British citizens have less rights and it will be harder for EEA citizens to move to the UK. While doing nothing to change the status of other citizens.
@DrewPavlou
There is loads of footage of the event. You can see the terrorists going around wearing green Shaddah headbands, chanting Allahu Akbar, while they are going around shooting and kidnapping people.
@GBNEWS
20°c is not record-breaking, and these forecasters are terrible at making predictions. One minute, they are saying it is going to be cold and raining, and then they say there is going to be a heat plume.
@glurcher
@BBCWalesNews
No, it is time to ditch the ridiculous mandates. A law that is so widely flouted is a bad law that doesn’t have public support, simple as.
@Quizbay
Yes absolutely. Covid19 is statistically comparable to a bad flu outbreak and less than 0.06% of the population has it. There isn’t much of a risk.
@soniasodha
@EHRC
There is no such thing as 'trans conversion therapy'. Learning to be comfortable with your natural body is the opposite of conversion therapy.
@loicleclef
@KirstieMAllsopp
I have no issues or objections with gay rights, and it is obvious that they are two completely different issues. Despite massive attempts to conflate them.
@ThomasBuckle93
@MartinSLewis
They were never necessary. They don’t work and more importantly you can’t spread something that you don’t have. They are also disgusting, dehumanising and unhelpful things which spread fear.
@dalkey04
@SkyNews
At the beginning, people weren’t being told to wear masks. Should have stayed that way. Nasty and unhelpful things, that clearly aren’t working.
@LockdownNo
It has been in the UK since at least November 2019 which means that people have lived perfectly normally with it for 5 months before going into panic mode.
@ollysmithtravel
Wildlife is crap as well. The only native mammals are whales, seals and bats. Sorry but something that looks like a lizard but isn't and a flightless bird that looks like a coconut just doesn't do it for me.
@brokendoll2023
@KirstieMAllsopp
So you resort to old MRM insults because you can't grasp why someone would sincerely object to such rubbish and disagree with a TV presenter on public social media.
@SamHarrisOrg
Nah, I actually stand up for the principle of free speech. Any attempts to restrict it are a slippery slope and shouldn't be tread on lightly.
@michaelpsenger
Social distancing was unsustainable from the get go, it goes against fundamental human nature as well as the way that societies have developed over thousands of years. It was never viable to drastically re-engineer society like that. Hence, why it fairly quickly collapsed.
@SkyNews
The vast majority of them should be sacked. They haven’t done their job of representing their constituent’s interest. Instead they have inflicted needless misery and suffering.
We have taken the decision to stop engaging with our X account, as of today. This account will continue to exist as an archive for our community. Read our full statement:

They are not going to leave the ECHR. A fair amount of the good Friday agreement and withdrawal agreement is dependent on it. This is all talk, no show.
@UKTwinds
The problem is abuse of the 1984 Public Health act which is what they have been using for much of this power grab and what they would likely use to bring in COVID passports.
They have shown that if there is enough backlash, they will go back on things. Make it clear that you are no longer willing to put with this.

It is not a controversial view. It was an amazingly offensive and absurd thing to say that should have been apparent with even a rudimentary understanding of the issue.
It shows where your biases are so you can stop with the pretence of being impartial.
Morning everyone,
We often put one side of an argument to a guest so they can offer a counterclaim
Yesterday, I raised a controversial view from an earlier guest to allow another to respond
Each morning we’re dedicated to presenting fairly the news of this war

No, and I still wouldn't wear one even if they clearly did work. The idea that the vast majority of people would choose to wear something so inconvenient for such minimal theoretical benefit is a delusional pipe dream.
Why wear a respirator?
- protects you against many diseases
- protects those around you, too (you don't know who is vulnerable)
- can be comfortable (try one & see!)
- encourages others to mask—90+% masking is possible
- incentivises innovation in masks—cheaper, cooler, better
@WSJ
The media is trying desperately hard to discredit Sweden for not turning into a police state and shutting down its economy. About 5000 deaths in a country of about 10 million, with around half of those being carehome related. Really isn’t that bad.
