I think not using game against median is a detriment to the league:
🌮Gives you more things to sweat even you play your league taco.
🗓️ Makes schedule "less" important (still a lot).
🙏 Allows most teams have a chance to get into the playoffs until the end.

Just to be clear because I see a lot of replies to this asking the same. This has only datapoints from superflex drafts, there is no data from 1qb leagues. I do not play them, do not track them and want nothing to do with 1qb leagues.

A new version of the 2023 RB table with a few additions.
Tried to explain better the columns, and added a few more details about their contract (dead cap and cap savings).
If your favorite RB is on cut candidate is because of his contract, not because of what I think of him.

It's almost week 1, and all I see in the comments of a lot of tweets are people asking Start/sit questions. Remember that the odds of that decision really impacting your match are most likely less than 10%. Do not sweat those decisions too much.
Using the data from those leagues, I extracted the point differential of all matches on those 887 leagues. The odds of you no being "abused" in a match (>20 points) is only 40% basically.

How knowing this can help you? Two things in my opinion.
1) Stop doing "Win Now" trades for temporary pieces that have limited shelf life. You are most likely overpaying for their value and they do not move the needle as much as you would think.(14/20)

Enjoy these days, they are by far the most active days the trade market will be in your league. These were the number of trades recorded this past 2 years in my DB (2021 has 2000 fewer leagues tracked). FA was big this year with the QB movement.

And remember, 2019 class was AS BAD as this one if not worse, so WR were also going high in rookie drafts. But this did not make WR go high on startups. This seems a clear overexpectation because 2020 and 2021 WR were so good.

To Refresh memory:
In 2018 Saquon was the RB1 overall, the Giants won 5 games with the corpse of Eli as QB.
In 2019 CMC was the RB1 overall, the Panthers won 5 games with Kyle Allen as the main QB.
Volume in high value touches is the only thing that matters to Fantasy RB.(8/9)
