Today we hosted a Professional Workforce Session facilitated by Jo from @SportStructures We welcomed a wide range of partners all passionate about or with a role to play in supporting Cumbrian clubs and community organisations to succeed. It was great to see the appetite in the room, to share knowledge and experience, and better understand each other’s roles to collectively move forward.

We are committed to delivering a wide range of teacher CPD which supports the physical activity curriculum and today we are at Dearham Primary School enjoying the Smart Moves session. 🤩 Smart Moves is a Motor Skills Development Programme designed to support children who have coordination difficulties. Delegates have spent some time this morning considering why children might struggle with motor skills tasks. They are now looking forward to lots of hands-on opportunities with the children to identify motor challenges and how to best support development. To find details of upcoming CPD visit our website 👉

In celebration of it's 10th year we are delighted to share a personal message from RED (Rise Every Day) January founder Hannah Beecham. More than half of participants who take part in RED January report feeling happier and less anxious by the end of the month. 📷📷 @REDJanuaryUK is a great way for organisations to promote mental wellbeing by encouraging daily movement within their communities. Just 31 days of movement can improve mood for the year ahead.
