The Asl for this principle is in the story of Adam 'alaihis-salam.

1] Is this necessary?
2] Is making Dua for the ruler a Nasiha for them?
2] Do you know the virtue of dua for your absent brother?
"I asked Ishāq: about the backbiting of the oppressive

He said: “It is not (backbiting when) regarding them. Except that it is
disliked that a person makes his tongue used to (speaking bad about people)."
