The Day of ʿArafah (The Ultimate Day of Mercy)
اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلٰهَ إلَّا اللّٰهُ وَاللّٰهُ أَكْبَرُ اَللّٰهُ
أَكْبَرُ وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ
“Allāh is the Greatest. Allāh is the Greatest. There is no god worthy of worship but Allāh and Allāh is the
🚨One Of the Scariest Hadith🚨
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said,
“If you see Allah giving a servant what he loves in the world, despite his disobedience, it is gradually increasing his punishment.”
Then, the ﷺ Prophet recited the verse, “When they forgot that of which they
‼️FEAR OF A BAD ENDING ‼️
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Sufyān al-Thawrī, may Allāh have mercy on him, once cried a whole night until the morning, so in the morning he was asked if his cry was due to the fear of sins.
He picked hay from the ground and said:
‘Sins are
5 Golden Advices from 'Umar Ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه :
1. "Do not speak about that which does not concern you.
2. Know your enemy and be wary of your friend, except for the trustworthy one.
3. No one is trustworthy, except for the person who fears Allah.
4. Do not walk

"If it (sex) is done wholeheartedly, in a friendly and loving manner, with full desire and with the intention of reward only than one can get complete pleasure which no other thing can give. It can only be attained by doing it in a best way. The sign of it
Prophet ﷺ said:
Three things can save a person:
١. Fear of Allāh in private and in public.
٢. Fairness in happiness and in anger.
٣. Generosity in both poverty and in wealth.
And three things can destiny a person:
١. Desires that are followed.
٢. Greed that is obeyed.

⚠️The only Expiation for Missing Prayer⚠️
Anas bin Mālik (may Allāh be pleased with him) reported:
The Prophet of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps through it (and misses it), then its (only) expiation is to to pray it when he remembers it.”
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“You may see a kind, righteous man who has a beautiful attitude, as one of the most beautiful of people in appearance, even if he is not good-looking,
especially if he is blessed with a share of Qiyam al-Layl (the night prayer), for it gives
'𝗨𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗯. 𝗮𝗹-𝗞𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮̄𝗯 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱: "Do not let your love be a total infatuation. Do not let your anger be destruction."
𝗭𝗮𝘆𝗱 𝗯. 𝗔𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱, "How can that be?"

"If a person has been tested with a sin, it is imperative that he is careful to not let his family see him committing the sin.
An example of this is smoking cigarettes. Some people have been tried with this sin and then they smoke in front of
💎Forgotten Sunnah💎
The Prophet ﷺ said:
Whenever you intend to leave your house you should pray two rak’ah right before you leave. These rak’ah will protect you from harm while outside.
And when you come back home you should pray another two rak’ah. They will safeguard you
‼️Punishments Of A Sinner‼️
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله: The punishments of a sinner are as follows:-
• Being deprived of Islamic knowledge (‘Ilm)
• Feeling of alienation in the heart
• Physical weakness
• Being unable to do acts of worship
• Being deprived of blessings
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a person does not have enough good deeds to reach a certain level in Jannah, but Allah wants him to attain that level,
then Allah tests him and puts him through difficult trials so that Allah may make him reach that level (in Jannah).”
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) said:
“There is a chaos in the heart that cannot be brought to order except by one turning to Allah, and in one's heart is a loneliness that cannot be removed except by finding company with Allah whilst alone, and in the heart [as well] is a
Imām An-Nawawī said:
“If a person falls into the same sin a hundred times or a thousand times — or even more, and he repents after each time, his repentance will be accepted and his sins nullified. Even if he was to repent after ALL his sins just one time, his repentance would
Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله said,
“Allah promised you pleasures of the Hereafter, so do not be in hurry and seek them in this worldly life as you are cutting plants before their harvest time, while they are much better if you wait. Likewise the pleasures of the Hereafter, are so
had been reminded, We opened for them the doors of every good thing until, when they rejoiced in that which they were given, We seized them suddenly and they were in despair.”
(Quran 6:44)

Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Six matters that are linked to the prayer have been indicated as marks of hypocrisy:
1. Laziness when one stands up to pray
2. Intending to show off with one’s prayer
3. Delaying the prayer
4. Praying in an extremely hasty manner
Umar bin Abdul-Aziz d.101 (may Allah have Mercy on him) said:
"If you see a man constantly being silent and avoids socialising with the people then get close to him. Surely, this man has been given wisdom."

”I once attended fajr prayer with Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله; he then sat and remembered Allāh until it was nearly midday. He then turned around and said to me,

‼️EFFECTS OF SINNING‼️
Ibn Qayim(رحمه الله) said:
"Sins lead to the following:
1-Lack of success in life.
2-Corruption of the heart.
3-Supplications not answered.
4-Hardening of the heart.
5-Blessings are removed from a person's rizq(sustainance) and(a person's) age.
6-Denied

“..and (these) four matters bring forth Rizq (sustenance):
1. Performing the night prayer
2. Abundance of istighfaar at daybreak
3. Committing one’s self to give in charity
The Prophet ﷺ said,
"Lend a helping hand to your brother whether he is unjust or the object of injustice." He was told, "Messenger of Allah, we help him when he is subject to injustice, but if he commits an injustice, how do we help him?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "You suppress
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: 'About reciting Surat Al-Fātiḥah:
“There was a time when I fell sick in Makkah, and I could not find a doctor or any medicine, so I treated myself by reciting it. I would take some Zamzam water and recite it over it several times, then drink it.
'Ali b. Abi Talib RA said:
"Be more concerned with having your good deeds accepted than with the deed itself. Did you not hear Allah say;
"'Verily, Allah only accepts from those who have Taqwa. (5:37)"

Yahya Related to me from Malik from Nafi that Umar ibn Al-Khattab (رضي الله عنه) used to order the rows to be straightened, and when they had come to him and told him that the rows were straight he would say the Takbir.

“I guarantee a house on the outskirts of Paradise, a house in the middle of Paradise, and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who gives up arguing even if he is right, who gives up lying even while joking, and who
💎The Best Times to Memorize💎
Our Shaykh Muhammad Ali Ādam al-Ityubi رحمه الله once said about the best time to memorize:
"Memorize during the times of high energy/vigour: at night, before Fajr, the beginning of the day, after Dhuhr, after Asr, and before sleeping - however
📚: The Prophet ﷺ said:
إن الله لا يقضي للمؤمن قضاء إلا كان خيرا له
“Verily, Allah does not decree anything for the believer except what is good for him.”
[Musnad Ahmad 12490]
Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh
lighter than this hay, I only cried out of fear of the bad ending.’
Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“And this is the peak of Fīqh (knowledge and understanding) that a man fears that his sins let him down at the time of death and that they come between him and the good ending.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“I guarantee a house in Paradise for one who gives up arguing, even if he is right; and a house in the middle of Paradise for one who abandons lying even when joking; and a house in the highest part of Paradise for one who makes his character excellent.”
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said,
"More than one person has said to me. When I repent to Him and do good deeds, He restricts my provision and makes my life difficult; but when I return to sin and submit to my lusts, provision and ease come freely to me!
I say to them, 'This is a
Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said,
“Allāh did not bless the people of the earth with a blessing greater than the sending of Muhammed ﷺ to them.”
[Al-Jawāb Al-Sahīh 5/88]
Imam Shafi’i, رحمه الله, said:
“Conceal your hardship so much so the people presume you are blessed and have an easy life.”
(Manaqib ash-Shafi’i | 2/188)
A women came to ‘Aisha رضي الله عنها in thin clothing (which exposed their body shape).
‘Aisha رضي الله عنها said to them:
“If you are (truly) believing women, then this is not the garment of the believing women!
And if you are not believing women, then (you may) enjoy it!”
TRIALS OF THE BELIEVER
At-Tabari died besieged,
al Bukhari deserted,
An-Nasaa'i murdered,
Ibn Hazm hunted,
Abu Hanifa died in captivity,
Ibn Taymiyyah in prison,
Malik Ibn Anas was imprisoned and flogged,
Imam Shafi was also imprisoned,
Al-Thawri died on the run,
Abu Bakr As-Siddiq رضي الله عنه used to say in his sermons,
"Where are the beautiful and the handsome?
Where are those who were delighted by their youth and good looks?
Where are the kings who built cities and fenced it with walls?
Where are the victorious in wars?
Ibn Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Your nafs is just like your enemy, once it finds you serious, it obeys you.
If it finds weakness from you, it will take you as a prisoner.”
[Bada'i Al-Fawa'id, v. 3, p. 1202]
Ibn ul-Qayyim رحمه الله said,
"Allah reprimands (tests) His believing slave whom He loves, though he is dear to Him, for the smallest mistakes and slip-ups, in order to keep him alert and careful.
As for the person who fell from His eye and meant nothing to Him, He allows him
Ibn al-Qayyim (رحمه الله) stated that “Four things bring Rizq:
1. Qiyām al-Layl
2. Frequent Istighfār before dawn
3. Pledging to give charity
4. Dhikr in the beginning of the day and at its end.”
Ibn al-Qayyim [Zād al-Maʿād (4/378)]
Beneficial Knowledge:
وَخُلِقَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ ضَعِيفًۭا
"Man was created weak"

Ibn 'Abbās commented:
"This is because men are unable to stay away from women and intercourse..."
Tawus commented on this saying:
"This verse is regarding women."

Shaykh al-Islam Imam Nawawi رحمه الله said,
“Reciting the Qur'an directly from a Mushaf is better than from memory, since looking at the Mushaf itself is an act of worship. Thus, two acts of worship are combined: reciting and looking at the Mushaf.”

The Sign Of Good Character Is In Ten Qualities
Al-Haafiz `Abdur-Ra-oof Al-Munaawee [رحمه الله] [D. 1031 H] said: Yoosuf Ibn Asbaat said:
❝The sign of good character is in ten qualities:
1. Rarely arguing,
2. Treating others fairly,
3. Abandoning seeking out people’s faults,
Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“How strange does it seem, that these tests which weigh a ton on our chest today will one day elevate us. Elevate us so high, that we will thank Allāh. We will thank Him for testing us, for loving us and for giving us more than anyone could
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله:
“Whoever intentionally misses one prayer has committed a severe major sin, so let him rush to repentance and righteous actions. And if he makes up for it by praying it after it’s prescribed time, this does not lift the burden of the sin
Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger (ﷺ) , said,
“Whoever restricts his tongue, Allah will cover his faults. Whoever restrains his anger, Allah will restrain his punishment on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever apologizes to Allah, Allah Almighty will accept his apology.”
Ibn Rajab said
“Taking care of the poor in the winter and protecting them from the cold is a great deed. Safwan bin Salim went out on a cold night in Madinah near the masjid, and he saw a man with little clothing on. So, he took off his coat and covered him up with it. Someone
Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported:
The Messenger ﷺ , took me by the hand and he said,
*“O Mu’adh, I swear by Allah that I love you. I swear by Allah that I love you. O Mu’adh, I advise you not to forget supplicating at the end of every prayer, saying: O Allah, help me to remember You,
Imām al-Bukhārī (رحمه الله) was distinguished with three qualities:
1. He never spoke much.
2. He never yearned for what people had.
3. He would never occupy himself with other people’s affairs; all his attention was towards knowledge.

Hudhaifah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
“Do not be a people without a will of your own, saying: 'If people treat us well, we will treat them well; and if they do wrong, we will do wrong,' but accustom yourselves to do good if people do good, and do not
Some of the Salaf رحمهم الله said:
“It has reached us that indeed the mansions of Jannah are built by Dhikr.
If one stops dhikr, the angels stop building the mansion.”

💎 Heal your Heart with Qur'ān💎
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“If you read (the Qur'ān) with contemplation, even if over a (single) ayah, it is a key to healing your heart. Even if repeated a hundred times and for the (whole) night. Reading an ayah with contemplation and
Imam an-Nawawi رحمه الله said,
"Reciting the Qur'an is the most important of adhkar, which should be done regularly. No day or night should be without and it may be attained by reciting a few verses."
[Kitab Al-Adhkar 1225/2]
Abu Huraira reported, The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ said,
ادْعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَنْتُمْ مُوقِنُونَ بِالْإِجَابَةِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُ دُعَاءً مِنْ قَلْبٍ غَافِلٍ لَاهٍ
“Call upon Allah with certainty that He will answer you. Know that Allah will not answer the
Imām Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله stated:
"Some of the Salaf said: If it wasn't for the calamities of the Dunyā we would come on the Day of Judgment bankrupt."
[Zād Al-Ma'ād 4/176]
Ibn Al-Qayyim [D. 752AH] [رحمه الله] stated:
❝Health is one of the most precious favours Allaah has bestowed upon His servants, the most generous of gifts, the most plentiful of His bounties. Rather, even more, [good] health is the most precious of favours without exception, so
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"If anyone asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely, Allah will make him reach the ranks of martyrs even if he died on his bed."
📚 Abi Dawud 1520 (Sahih)
Allāh سبحان و تعال said:
"When I love him (a Muslim), I am his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks."

Sh. Ibn Bāz commentary:
"It does not mean that Allāh is his
Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:
"Reciting the Qur'ān heals the diseases of the heart just like honey heals the diseases of the body.”
[At-Tabsīrah | No. 79]
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله
Umar bin al Khattab (radiallahu anhu) would say:
"I do not worry about the response, rather I worry about making the supplication. If I have been inspired to supplicate, then surely the response comes with it."
A poet carried this meaning and
Al-Imām Ahmad [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him] said:
“I worshipped Allāh for fifty years and I did not experience the sweetness of worship until I abandoned three things:
I abandoned pleasing the people in order to be able to speak the truth,
I abandoned the companionship of
Imaam ash-Shāfi'ī رحمه الله: The dignity of a man is in three things;
• Hiding poverty until people consider from your integrity that you are rich.
• Hiding anger until people consider that you are pleased.
• Hiding hardship until people consider that you are
Umar ibn al Khattab رضي الله عنه said to a man who was thinking of divorcing his wife:
Why do you want to divorce her ?
He said: I do not love her.
Umar (ra) said: Must every house be built on love ? What about loyalty and appreciation ?
He then went on saying...
Imam Bukhari رحمه الله advised his students,
“Be delighted, because the people of amusements are busy in their fun and games, manufacturers are busy with manufacturing, business people are busy with their businesses,
and as for you, then you are busy with the Prophet ﷺ and his
Ibn Hazm said: “What indicates a person’s weak religion and fear of God, is that he seaks for an opinion that suits his desire.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:
“The dayooth (the man with no protective jealousy over the women in his family) is the most vile of the creations of Allāh, and Jannah is forbidden for him.”
[ad-Daa wa Dawaa | Pg. 77]
'Umar Ibn al-Khattaab (RaḍiyAllāhu ʿanhu) once said to al-Ahnaf Ibn Qais (RaḍiyAllāhu ʿanhu),
“O Ahnaf, the more one laughs, the less dignity will he posses.
Whoever jokes (excessively or indecently) is a person who will be taken lightly.
Whoever does something frequently
Shaykh Abu'l Faraj Ibn Jawzi, may Allaah have mercy on him, said,
"The majority of sinners do not purposely intend to disobey Allaah, but rather they just want to follow their desires, while in their heart, disobeying their Lord is something they find hard to do."
Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهم reported that the Prophet ﷺ said,
Three things lead to destruction, and three things lead to salvation, three things lead to the expiation of sins and three things which raise you in levels:
As for the three things that lead to destruction they are:
🚨Think About Death Often🚨
Ibn abu Duniyã mentioned with his chain of narration by way of Mansur b. Abd al-Rahmãn who narrated from safiyãh who said:
"A woman came to Ăishãh (رضي الله عنه)complaining of hardness of the heart. Therefore Ăishãh said:Think about death often and
{يَقُولُ يَٰلَيۡتَنِى قَدَّمۡتُ لِحَيَاتِى}
He will say, "Oh, I wish I had sent ahead [some good] for my life."
Ibn Kathīr رحمه الله states:
“If he was an obedient person, he will wish that he performed more acts of obedience.”
“And whoever raced ahead in this
dunyā towards
SHAYKH IBN UTHAYMEEN رحمه الله SAID:
"IF YOU SEE YOURSELF DETERIORATE, PICK YOURSELF UP BY REPENTING AND SEEKING ALLAAH’S سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى FORGIVENESS
AND BY ASKING HIM TO KEEP YOU FIRM. AND DON'T BECOME CARELESS, AND NEITHER SAY: "IN SHAA ALLAAH, MY EEMAAN WILL BECOME
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said,
"Calamities, trials and tests are signs of love from Allaah for the believers.
They are comparable to a cure; although it may be bitter, you accept it because it is from the One whom you love;
and to Allaah belongs the best example."
Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ رحمه الله:
"Neglecting to do a good deed in order to please people is nifaaq (hypocrisy), whereas doing a good deed to please people is shirk (polytheism)
Sincerity is that Allah protects you from both of those acts."
📚 Maʿālim al-tanzīl
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz رحمه الله said:
When you are troubled by something in this world, remember death, for it will make things easier for you
الفرج بعد الشدة لابن أبي الدنيا (ص42)
Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen [رحمه الله] said:
"When a person is at home then it is from the Sunnah, that for example he makes his own tea, cooks if he knows how to and washes up that which needs washing, all of this is from the Sunnah.

“I have several names. I am Muhammad, and I am Ahmad, and I am al-Maahi (the eraser) by means of whom Allah erases kufr, and I am al-Haashir (the gatherer) at whose feet the people will be gathered, and I am al-‘Aaqib (the last) after whom there will be no
I used to enter my home where the Messenger of Allah ʿalayhi al-salam and my father were buried without wearing the veil, and I would tell myself that it was only my husband and my father. But, by Allah, once ʿUmar was buried with them, I never entered it without my garbs pulled
The cure to all problems:
“Seeking forgiveness (Al-Istighfār) is from the greatest of good deeds and its door is expansive.
So whomsoever feels deficiency in their speech, their actions, their general state, their provisions, or the instability of their heart; then let them
Shaykh Muhammad B. Saalih Al-uthaymeen -rahimahuLlaah- said :-
“Anyone who waits patiently for a breakthrough will be rewarded for his waiting, since waiting for a breakthrough is a type of having positive thoughts about Allaah, and having excellent thoughts about Allaah is a
Abul Hasan Al-Muzayyan رحمه الله said,
“A sin committed after another sin is a punishment for the first sin and a good deed that is done after another good deed is the reward for the first good deed.”
[Sifatus Safwah, 2/456]
Shaykh Uthaymīn رحمة الله said:
Don’t look down upon your muslim brother, even if he doesn’t understand a simple issue, don’t look down upon him.
Perhaps Allah might open for him so he learns from knowledge what would make him more knowledgeable than you.

Ibn Taymiyyah Raḥimahullāh said: “And know that anyone who loves a thing more than Allāh then it is INEVITABLE that he be hurt by the thing he loves.”

“The one who is truly poor is the one who wasted his life in pursuit of knowledge without acting upon it. He missed out on the pleasures of the worldly life and the best of the hereafter.
The Importance of Fajr
The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) said:
“Angels come to you in succession, night and day, and they meet at Fajr prayer and ‘Asr prayer, then those who stayed among you overnight ascend and [Allaah] asks them – although

1. Met the Prophet.
2. Believed in him.
3. Died upon Islam.

Hasan al-Basri رحمه الله said:
“If you had seen the Sahabah, you would've said: They're crazy!
If the Sahabah had seen

"Do not let your past (carelessness) make you lose hope of achieving good for many people have come back to wakefulness after a long sleep."
