@CarthageHater @TTNationalist @Anarseldain Out of any reason for a black person to be in 1403 Bohemia a traveler from a Muslim empire isnβt too far-fetched considered Bohemia was still the crown jewel of the HRE at the time. From what Iβve seen of Musa as well he almost seems like a caricature of Muslims tbh.

@sheaffer117 @Thought_Critica @ReviewsPossum Note that irl Hansβ son is only born a year after the game takes place. 1388 is only an estimated guess based off of some sources stating he became of age in 1406 but considering coming of age in the Middle Ages can mean anything from 16-early 20s itβs just a guess.

@bob18520312 @RifqyDG @ReviewsPossum This is established in the first few quests past the prologue. The in game Hans capon is inspired by the actual Lord of Rattay at the time but other than the inspiration heβs a fictional character.

@ReddishPills @jakawither @8EyedEel The map is yes based off of manuscript art but the map is completely out of universe.

@winds0f @MoshiMoshiMoan Also this is basically just focusing on the fact that itβs a gay sex scene, using the βheβs underagedβ as protection. Henry is stated to be around the same age as Hans yet no one is getting upset over the first gameβs sex scenes or the straight ones in the second.

@Griff403 @AmonAglar @marky_twitt @MoshiMoshiMoan Note the word inspired. These people often have little to not information on them despite us knowing they existed. Like the guy who killed Henryβs parents is supposed to be dead by the time of the even the first game.

@winds0f @Amphidex213 @AmonAglar @marky_twitt @MoshiMoshiMoan The problem with the medieval period especially is that we often have documentation of real people but not much beyond that. Hans Capon was turned from the underaged lord into the young naive lord who couldnβt be trusted to rule yet despite legally being able to.

@PushKickKen @marky_twitt @MoshiMoshiMoan Guess what, the Codex is only showing the real life inspiration of the character. The guy who kills Henryβs parents is supposed to be dead by the time of both games. Itβs quite obvious heβs aged up, this isnβt like AC where the characters are recreations of real people.

@FutureHOF3 @Novaboxx777 St. Jerome considered them as not scripture only early in his life, and he left them in the Latin Vulgate because guess what? He recognized the authority of the Pope above his personal opinion and changed his personal opinion accordingly.

@zaggrim @KeatonianB8787 @ShitpostGate Itβs also a hold over from Napoleonic era combat where taller soldiers were seen as more valuable. People forget that the tactics at the start of WW1 were still centered around line warfare.

@falconeSPQR @spoldoge @nearhanuddin Itβs basically at the point that the Vulgar Latin languages/dialects were at before splitting off into distinct languages.
