Chapter 3-9 of Vatican 1 anathematized anyone denying supremacy - which made Pope Gregory the Great a material heretic. So much for papal infallibility.

@maksimologija @YariLogos @frgregoryj @Methodios007 @redeemed_zoomer Do you understand the patristic distinction between hypostasis and nature? As Saint Maximus stated Christ is divine by hypostasis, human by nature. And the divine has fully deified the flesh and human will.

@maksimologija @YariLogos @frgregoryj @Methodios007 @redeemed_zoomer As Saint Photius stated Christ is not a human person, no human hypostasis, it is not nature with properties. The human nature subsists in the divine hypostasis, bestowing the properties from his divine person.

@YariLogos @frgregoryj @Methodios007 @redeemed_zoomer Saint Dumitru and Saint Justin were clear about Christ’s divine hypostasis. Divinely hypostatized flesh as the Damascene stated. Divine person actualizing human nature.
