Had an induction today to allow me to work at Clapham Junction tomorrow. Got to dispatch along side
@Sam82767021
himself.
Freshly back from Bournemouth 5868 graced through Platforms 10 and 11. What an amazing livery, well done to the paint team for this!.
What a pleasure it has been to work at Clapham Junction today alongside
@Sam82767021
and to see
@Yawwith
and
@typicaldullname
Got some cool badges out of it, got to do some assistant dispatching and use TRTS for the first time!
Also more 5868 I can't complain!!
South Western Railway Class 455 868 "5868" prepares to depart Clapham Junction for London Waterloo on 2F42 07/03/24.
(decided to edit some of my raw photos in Lightroom, absolutely ecstatic with how this has come out)
We're in the midst of recovering from an incident at Clapham Junction earlier today.
Pat on the back to my team at Putney and those at CLJ who had to deal with the incident.
All this 2024 Stock is getting me very excited!! they look absolutely incredible.
It's going to be hard to stomach the end of these Heathrow bound workhorses. Like them or not they've played an important part of LU Heritage bringing the Picc to LHR.

Class 701s are once again as close as ever.
038 has been through my station multiple times today on 5QXX allocations to Windsor. Judging by movement around these trains they could be in service very very soon.
(All photos taken from a POS, not while undertaking s/c duties)
Got dragged out today on the Central Line to ride the new CLIP unit with
@Yawwie47
&
@Drone3774
Unfortunately that did not happen and I spent more time on a 1992 Stock then needed (anything more then 10 seconds)
450116 and 450031 arriving into Clapham Junction earlier. Nice to see these two units paired up for what is most likely the last ever time we will see two blue 450s coupled up!
Thanks to
@MarblePlane2873
for making me aware of this.
Today has been nothing short but a challenge for all of us across the Windsor routes, especially those at Clapham.
These things aren't easy to deal with,
to the staff who worked their hardest today you deserve a pat on the back.
My thoughts are with all involved
also... tell me how this map is easier to read then the current one. Accessibility seems to be an afterthought.
four green lines, three purple lines, three blue lines, two yellow lines and two red lines now reside on the map.
Please please please for the love of god stand behind the yellow line
I know it can be annoying to be nagged by staff but you're safety is so important.
At the same time, we will continue to transition towards GBR while delivering reforms which don't require legislation, including simplifying fares and ticketing and setting a target to grow rail freight.
Today marks the last day of service of Tunnelbana CX vehicles.
The last of it's type, the C14 tunnelbanevagn has it's final service today.
The C14 is an ongoing evolution of the ASEA CX series which started with the C1. This series is as old as Tunnelbana itself.

Very sad to learn from a couple hundred miles away that Saturday will be the final day of operations of SL's CX series of tunnelbanevagn
they'll always look stunning to me. I guess I'll have to wait for Saltsjobanan to reopen so I can ride a CX train.

After 10 years of living on the Coastway, the place that gave me my namesake, today is the momentous last day 🥲
Everyone has been absolutely amazing, thank you for all the incredible adventures. Life may be different from tomorrow, but it will be an amazing new chapter 💜
