Huge thanks to all the advocates for travelling to Parliament today to voice the concerns of asbestos victims and their families, and to all the MPs and peers who showed their support. We are proud to have had some Ministers among them!

This Monday, 27th Jan, we are hosting a ‘meet & greet’ with asbestos victims’ charities. We encourage all MPs to pop in and meet their local charity group. Committee room 16, between 4:30-6pm Please encourage your MP to drop by!

The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Occupational Safety and Health was re-constituted in October this year, and proud to have @IanLaveryMP serving as Chair. The Group now has a website, where you can find meeting updates and sign up to our mailing list.

Last month we marked 50 yrs of the Health & Safety at Work Act with a reception in Parliament. Thanks to Minister @stephenctimms for addressing us, our sponsors @LD_Asbestos and all speakers and guests for an enjoyable evening. Much progress made in 50 yrs, a lot more to do.
