Good news. The Crime Survey for England and Wales reports that there has been a gradual decrease in domestic abuse over the last 10 years. The survey for year to March 2024 estimated that 5.4% of people aged 16 to 59 years had experienced domestic abuse in the last year, compared with 6.5% in year to March 2014. Congratulations to all those who have been working to achieve this. Here are the stats:
