a lot of women don’t want to be honest about their options and the options they are choosing to engage with. it’s better to make it seem like all men are poor options vs assessing the role you play in surrounding yourself with and choosing those options.
I just really don’t understand all these women who claim to have money constantly dealing with men who not “on their level”. Did you make friends in undergrad? Did you network with your coworkers? Why is your circle full of poor men?

this can be said about all “hidden” disabilities— most people don’t understand the impact of them until they have to recognize the physical manifestation of said disability.
My hot take is that many people haven’t seen a physical manifestation of people struggling with ADHD, Autism, OCD and that’s why it’s so downplayed and the “superpower” narrative online seems to be louder than the real life issues people face
