I was managing one of the biggest Shared Offices in Abuja, salary <500k, I asked for upgrade to like 700k. I was managing people, community and IT resources. I asked for a raise, they said NO(by Naija superiors).I left, they employed Lebanese and started paying her $6,000 p/m.😂.

I can't count the number of Owambe I have sacrificed for the sake of my career growth. But one junior strategist is telling me he can't deliver on a task over the weekend because he has a wedding to attend. Work-life balance is not for people who are hungry for growth.
