That reminds me of when Cincinnati's then mayor pushed Oakley Station through as a walkable development.
A new suburban commercial area was built in Regina, Canada. The developers decided to plop a 4 story apartment building right in the middle of sea of parking lots. I tried to find a photo of the views from the balcony, but the photographer clearly didn't want people to see lol🤣

First bike ride since my heart attack. I was a little apprehensive about it but turns out that cliché about riding a bike is a cliché for a reason.

I was talking to a project manager from PD&C and he told me they’re gonna start sawing Crosley into chunks and hoisting them down until it gets low enought to jackhammer it. There isn’t any space inside to implode it.

I rode my bike up Vine St hill and into the office for the first time since my heart attack and it was NBD.

Last year potholes were all the rage with local news in Cincinnati and I suggested people could just slow down, they didn’t have to plow through them at highway speeds and a reporter called me a victim blamer.

The city is installing 30 interactive kiosks around downtown/OTR for wayfinding.
Maybe one day in the future people will have interactive thingies in their pockets with a maps thing and a search thing built right into it.
Until that future day these kiosks will be really cool!

Cincinnati City Council passed a complete streets ordinance today. All users must be considered when repaving streets, not just drivers. We're slowly getting to a more equitable city for people no matter how they need to move about.
