On 8/23/23 our home caught on fire. I’m so very grateful for my neighbors who alerted us to the fire, as we were home and unaware. We all made it out with moments to spare before the entire place was engulfed in thick black smoke.
We are rebuilding the home. We have had 5 weeks
I never understood this about people.
“Oh I didn’t recognize the number so I didn’t answer” is one of the most annoying things to hear.
What if it was an emergency? What if it was your family using someone else’s phone?
It would never come through bc you your phone to ignore

Wrong - get into an accident and Ubers insurance doesn’t cover you bc you exceeded to occupancy limit. Bet you didn’t know that.
Lowe’s or Home Depot?
My dad was all about Lowe’s. I favored Home Depot until a couple years ago.
Just feels like Lowes is stocking more products contractors want and Home Depot more of what suburban homeowners want.
When I was 28 I had a painting company called “The Amazing Paint Company”
I did Venetian plasters, faux finishes, airbrushed solar systems and butterfly garden bedrooms for high end clients. Sometimes a bedroom was $6k just in paint.

Just one last comment:
I’m not in sales / im in construction.
I didn’t realize you guys receive so many spam calls.
Obv I can’t answer every call. I personally have to answer a lot of unknown callers and thought it was extreme to set your phone to auto ignore unknown numbers

Good morning. I’m a GA pilot. I’ve never flown a commercial jet but can tell you this. Planes have been designed to handle extreme stress to the airframe. The wings of a 737 can almost clap together before they actually break.

What gets me is the vehicle you chose is only safer in this one rare example.
In every other example that’s more likely to happen - it’s more dangerous.

Scrappiest - 2 week bull run all across MN - 180 properties, over 400 work orders (small orders), by myself, no plan just a route & my 1 ton van. Sun up to sun down and find closest motel.
Made $35k and proved my salt - won a contract worth +- $500k/yr with BAFSC back in 2011.
When we bought our home there was a note from the previous owner.
It said:
Welcome to your new home, we used the backyard pool for most pool needs.
Me:
Ummmm Duh what else would you use?
(I was thinking they meant the actual pool in the backyard .. I was very confused)
Kickbacks are illegal so be careful what you say.

I don’t know how people are able to drive less than 10k miles in a year. That’s what makes it not an option for me.
Heck my 3rd car see’s that many lol
We lost almost everything from the fire.

Huge positive reinforcement / conga line to the potty with a catchy jingle / prize bag for using the potty (about 10 small prizes) then final prize is new underwear. They will love the new underwear so much they won’t want to soil them.

I get job offers on every project. Sometimes for a lot more than I make and I keep turning them down bc I love where I work.

My dad died 15 years ago due to cancer.
Today was the first time I’ve been able to spend Fathers Day with him since he was alive.
He sure would have loved this.

is untrue where I’m at. The urban farm I volunteer at grew over 7k#’s of great produce. They only want the fruit not the veggies. Over 3k#’s of produce grown at the Urban Farm gets tossed out by the food bank. About half each week.

Happy Birthday!
I got her soon after my dad passed away. I was lonely and hurt at the time. Something compelled me and on a whim went and bought her from a breeder.
I gave her the name Roxy
Genuinely grateful for all the comments and insight.
We’ve decided to stick with the peninsula for these reasons:

The accident and $500 need from a good employee are completely separate situations and I would handle them as individual issues.
1. Assuming the $500 is for a valid understandable reason I would advance the cash.
2. The accident is the cost of doing business. Retraining a new

I show him the photo above
Good question.
What are the differences between each level of drywall finishing?
I’ll try to break this down in a simplified version.
👉Level 0 - No finishing work has been done on the drywall.
👉Level 1 - Joint tape is embedded in joint compound at the seams, but no mud
