So, I spoke to people getting food at a food bank and here are some things I learned from those in need:
1. Everyone donates Kraft Mac and Cheese in the box. They can rarely use it because it needs milk and butter which is hard to get from regular food banks.

There is liquid milk in boxes, shelf stable. Amazing product. I wish I'd had it when my own kids were little, but always used it as an emergency item for my grandkids. A great item to donate. More expensive, but wonderful for shelters and for disaster areas.

I was with my ex while he passed and we were all giving him Reiki at the time. His girlfriend ran at the end, but my children and I were still "family" I would never abandon someone who needed me. The anniversary is coming up and we still miss him.
