I want to thank each and every one of you who have sent me congrats on the MHOF🙏🏻my family and I are extremely excited and grateful for this moment…a lot of you have a part in this and my relationship with Mets fans is something I’ve always cherished🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I want to thank all of you for the prayers and support since my unfortunate beaning on Sat. I’m blown away by it all. Hopefully I won’t need surgery and I can get back to doing what I love. I wish I could thank every one in person. My heart is truly full...
Great news today...doc says I can avoid surgery as long as I protect my face! Thank you all for the well wishes during this tough time. And especially, ESPECIALLY to my brother
@BobOjeda19
for flying out and being my right hand man this past week...

…good morning y’all…Tanner’s skin grafts are taking well after the first week. He also doesn’t need his wound vac anymore as the healing continues. I told you he loves baseball and yesterday marked the first time he’s been able to do this in quite some time🙏🏻🙏🏻
Some very very sad news…last night our beloved companion of 17 yrs went on to her next life…our “Tebow” was a blessing from God and we can’t believe she is gone…there’s no way to prepare…we just want to remember her and love her memory…bye sweet girl…1/20/2007 — 2/19/2024

…Tanner was scheduled for skin grafts yesterday, however the docs have found some bacterial infection in the foot…grafts are on hold a few days while they deep clean the area and pump antibiotics into Tanner…so they are back in the hospital…thank you all🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
In 2021, Pete Alonso hit 37 home runs & 3 triples (tied with Brandon Nimmo & Francisco Lindor for the team lead).
Alonso became the first

hitter with 35+ homers & 3 or more triples in a season since Howard Johnson in 1991.

it’s thing…there is one area on top of the foot that has not “taken” and tomorrow he goes in for another look. If the area has not shown improvement then the next step would be to transfer tissue from another area of his body to reconstruct the top of the foot. We need to pray..

Great news and answered prayer🙏🏻🙏🏻Tanner is on his way back from the hospital and the plastic surgeon said his foot looks great and that the one spot that wasn't growing tissue before has now generated enough for skin grafting🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
10/6/1991 Howard Johnson knocks in his 117th run of the season and becomes the first Met to lead the National League in runs batted in. HoJo’s 38 homers and 76 extra-base hits are also the most in the NL.

3/26/1997 Howard Johnson retires from baseball. A 1986 World Series champion, HoJo ranks in the top five in franchise history in home runs (192), doubles (214), RBI (629) and stolen bases (202). He will be inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame later this year.

Unfortunately MLB is delayed and fans should not expect a quick resolution…sadly there was never a chance it would start on time…if a deal was possible then it would have occurred…one side is trying to destroy the other and fans are caught in the middle again…
The offseason of 2006, when I became the Mets first base coach, David and I talked about making 30/30 a goal. He set his mind to it and we worked hard and and made it happen...huge accomplishment...

…He received his skin grafts yesterday 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 and we are so thankful for this day…grafts are not an easy process but it signifies the beginning of healing…your prayers and support have gone such a long way and the family thanks you and loves all of you..
Tanner had his second surgery today and it was just completed…it went as good as can be expected…the Integra skin was applied and because he’s so young it has a great chance of staying infection free…also the doctors saw some tissue regeneration which is great news🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻…
Tanner is doing great! Moving around like a normal 2 year old except with a slight limp…prosthetics in the future but the foot itself is structurally sound on the bottom so weight support is not an issue…the body is an amazing thing…prayers work🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
