My big brother John passed away last night. He was retired and living near Tampa. Some of my greatest memories of him was when he took me to Mets games when I was young.

Married to my beautiful wife 47 years today. Where did the time go? I was barely 22. She was just shy of 19! Challenging early years with work, college and finances, but we endured. My wife was very young, but she matured me and helped make me the man I am. Forever ❤️ you Babe.

Why do some people hate on Jeff McNeil? He busts his ass every day, is a gold glove caliber fielder who excels at every position, is the best contract hitter on the team who sprays the ball all over. You make me scratch my head!.
@AnthonyDiComo If McNeil doesnt hit well over .300 he is useless as a starting 2B. He brings nothing else good enough to the table as a starter.

My son in law who graduated from college with honors. Had many career opportunities, yet chose to join the #FDNY & has served with distinction. He is being promoted to lieutenant on Wednesday. Words can not adequately express my gratitude. Well done Lt Mike, I love you.

A bit of good news today, if you want to call it that. I saw my oncologist and he gave me the OK to have the surgery. I meet with my vascular surgeon next Wednesday to schedule it. As long as my platelets don’t drop, I’m good to go.

So I read that Soto wants $700 million over 14 years. That’s $59 million per annum. I also heard that Cohen stated that he will spend $50 million more than the highest bidder to get him. This really turns me off!! .Say No to Soto!.

Matz is due $5.2M this year and it should be noted on his way out of NY just how much time/energy he put into charity, especially when it came to the FDNY.

Last year the Mets won 101 games and were in 1st place for 175 days. I was heartbroken when they lost to Atlanta the final series and then languished in the playoffs. I didn’t expect the Mets to win 101 games this year but at this point I am mortified. How can this be?.

I didn’t get to watch today’s Mets game because we hosted our twin grand kids first official birthday party and it went marvelously. So happy for the Mets win, and it was great to have Diaz back in true form! He was so greatly missed. #LGM

Today was my 69th infusion since I first started in early May 2019. The 70th will be New Year’s Eve. Good way to finish the year. I should wear a tux for the occasion. Lymphocytic leukemia sucks, just as all cancers, but I have learned to sail my ship through the storm.
