- my main gripe is that the subscription model is pushed to make it look like the $25 dollar pricetag (which actually used to be $40 dollars!) is a good deal
- subscriptions should be generally for a service and not the entire application
- it's an opinion!

drop the subscription model, pay what you want with a minimum (or just set it at a specific price) and offer a year or two of updates. gives the buyer the power to decide if they want to pay more if they find it useful, and doesn’t completely shaft you out of recurring $$$

i absolutely think if the utility was larger, minus a small window for usage, it could absolutely be a paid application. for what it’s worth i still support small developers / apps (sleeve, cleanshot, raycast, could go on) so it’s not like i have a “cheap” mindset
