Call it a hot take but I don’t care whatsoever where a fight takes place. Huge arena, the Apex, bingo hall, alley behind the 7-11… I just want to watch the fights. What I’m saying is, I love the Apex because it allows the UFC to put on way more fight cards than the used to.

I’m seeing a ton of “Gabriel Bonfim has no cardio” this week. They are referring to the Dalby fight. If you are of that mind, take the time to go back and watch that fight. Look at the output Bonfim put out in that fight. Now find someone who can put that out and not get tired….

He did fantastic! People are going to say he didn’t try to do enough damage but that’s bs. Rowston had an extremely active guard and Finney was still able to do what he needed to do and fight out of some dangerous sub attempts. Also cracked him with a couple nasty over hands.

Every weigh in day MMA Twitter is littered with people saying “___ looks horrible on the scale, they’re going to gas out” or something similar, only for that fighter to look great in their fight & even win. Moral of the story, if they make weight without passing out, it’s fine.
