@TheGradyConnell @NZTransitBuzz interesting, i remembered they all had that odd curved shelter, but i must be wrong. the gi/papatoetoe ones were presumably prototypes for the standard network shelter that's been rolled out everywhere now

@TheGradyConnell @NZTransitBuzz i'm not entirely sure, i just recognise the slightly different design on the curved awning. there was some coverage at the time, called "signature stations"

@Colemagoo i was envisaging it as more of a coverage service, which happened to be frequent due to the density/demand. if you 2-way the streets, nelson would be it. most people would still walk to albert (a bus every 2-3 mins). but a 10-15 min service can still useful for quite a few people
