this scene is so special bc it shows how much patrick loves tashi. people put emphasis on how much he loves art (real) but he fucking loves them so much and he lost both of them at the same time and never recovered
The way Tom portrays Coriolanus watching Lucy Gray singing for the first time, as a young man who tries so hard to blend in. He has this hint of a smile before he controls himself. He is impressed by her, but he doesn’t know if he’s allowed to be. It’s so subtle but it’s there.

TikTok is single-handedly bringing older (& original) shows back to the top 10 on Netflix atm. Paramount+ won’t see that kind of engagement if they erase everything that doesn’t succeed in the first weeks
The Super Bowl, the Grammys, the Met Gala. While the world is distracted by rich people events, that’s when they’re doing their worst. Don’t turn a blind eye to the violent attacks going on today in Rafah.
I loved Tom’s performance of these scenes because you can see Coriolanus fighting within himself until the paranoia takes over. At first he’s just a little confused, genuinely just wanting her to come back, and then his madness takes over and you see the change click. Tom is 👌

Ppl think that love has to be pure to be real. No it can be messy and toxic and inexplicably complicated. He loved her but in the end other factors became more pressing to him. He loved himself more he loved power more. But he did love her & that’s why she haunted him for 60+yrs
Coriolanus Snow turns into a terrible person but up until the very end of tbosas he still had goodness inside of him. I love how Tom portrayed the moments where he made a decision to turn off his humanity entirely. His mother’s scarf symbolising the goodness he once had,
Omfg?? This scene without the music?? The way it’s silent when snowbaird look at each other. Hearing Coryo’s “don’t touch her” and when Sejanus is telling him to leave. THE VOCALS.
